Well tbh, we was probably training for Miller and not like a cat in Ruiz.

Miller was bigger, lumbering, slower, easier to time, etc.

Then they had to switch it up and probably just looked at dudes physique and took him a lil lightly than normal.

And he still had a chance if he hadn’t have jumped to finish him so quickly after the knockdown. Fighters like Ruiz want to be close to you as much as possible so they can get underneath and come up/under again and basically beat tf out of you on speed. Why are people acting like Joshua-Wilder isn’t still (potentially) a big matchup?

If Joshua comes back in a rematch and smokes Ruiz they’re right back to square one, and if Wilder gets Fury out of there decisively as well the fight could be even bigger than it would’ve been right now.

Fighters lose all the time. The real question is whether this was a blip for Joshua, or if he’s been exposed. Won’t know where the fight with wilder stands until we know that.
