Again, this is good for the division (and boxing in general).

All the champs of the 90s in the HW division all lost fights. That's part of HW boxing, one punch can change a fight. Now there's no need for all of these guys to keep protecting their "undefeated records". We need the Tyson v Holyfields, Holyfield vs. Bowe, Lewis vs Rahmans again.

Right!!! Which, as a Hurd and GGG fan (and a guy who felt that Diet Charlo beat Harrison), I didn't mind them taking losses because it gets the division moving and get the fights that we want to happen quicker.

The Truth
This ultimately falls on Eddie Hearn. Should’ve did his homework and found a real tomato can to make Joshua look good his first time in America.

Uncle Al outsmarts him again :mjlol:
This

Ruiz wasn’t the one right now imo.

Just off boxing ability alone he shouldn’t have took this fight. It was winnable but Hearn should’ve known better. Plenty of other cats you could’ve fought and got your feet wet over here.

He fought a much better opponent than Wilder did though.

Even after watching this fight I'm still here thinking it's no way Ruiz does this again :gucci:

Why didn't Joshua jab or hold any tonight!?!?
Like everyone is saying it seems like he just didn't take this fight seriously at all. I have to think he wins the rematch and looks MUCH better. If not his whole career may be fraud status
he was trying to establish the jab in the 3rd round but he got too cocky after the first knockdown and got hurt. he never recovered from it
