Why are people acting like Joshua-Wilder isn’t still (potentially) a big matchup?

If Joshua comes back in a rematch and smokes Ruiz they’re right back to square one, and if Wilder gets Fury out of there decisively as well the fight could be even bigger than it would’ve been right now.

Fighters lose all the time. The real question is whether this was a blip for Joshua, or if he’s been exposed. Won’t know where the fight with wilder stands until we know that.
Honestly, i feel Wilders time is coming too.

If AJ was a paper champ then Wilder DEFINITELY is a paper champ. He ducked Wlad, ducked AJ, took Fury off a 2-year layoff and was gifted a draw, etc. his only serious win imo was against 50 year old Ortiz that just backed out of this fight with Joshua.

Wilder really needs to stfu. Styles makes fights and this was a terrible fight for Hearn to put AJ in as his first fight in the US. If Wilder wants to talk shyt, fight Ruiz next and win all the belts instead of trying to lay out your bum fights for the next 3 years and shyt

Good point man - The real question is whether this was a blip for Joshua, or if he’s been exposed

This is it. My thoughts are he was exposed... I don't think he has the skills to develop a diff approach to winning fights like Vlad did

It would be big ,but not as big as it once was

Joshua’s perceived invincibility (to casuals) is gone .Cant get that back. Doesn’t affect Fury that much because that domestic money will always be there for a British mega fight

Definitely hurts wilder-joshua tho

Everywhere...You never there.
This isn’t true

He rushed right into Ruiz’s wheelhouse and got dropped and was gassed ever since.

He was unfocused and had zero energy. I could tell by his jab.. it was slow, weak, and lazy. Seemingly had zero gameplan as well. Keeping Ruiz on the stick and sneaking in shots to the body and the KO would’ve came easier than you backpedaling all night and getting put down

Perk talking big cash online, you don’t become a 4 belt holder without heart.

Good post ... how did the lethargy creep in? Doesn’t seem like him at all... another classic case of “overlooking” or “taking for granted” an opponent ?
