What's the gist? Video is 12 min
Cuffy says Meech rated on him through an informant named Tammy Cowins. She had a tapped phone I believe if I remember correctly and was working with the feds. She is the reason why Meech is home today.

Cuffy is currently in prison.

IIRC there's no early release when it comes to Fed time, and you have to do a minimum of 85% with good behavior.

He was sentenced in 2008 to 30 years, and got out in 2024, which isn't anywhere near 85%, as 85% of 30 years would be 25.5 years. If he's indeed a federal informant, that info can be withheld, but if he was a cooperator, it would have come out.

Something ain't adding up to how he served ~16 years of a 30 year sentence. I saw a judge "significantly reduced his sentence by nearly 3 years" but even then, the math isn't adding up

However, the word of an informant isn't anywhere close to enough to land someone in prison, especially if said informant doesn't testify. However, it can obviously assist authorities in their investigation.

What is Cuffy in prison for?
