If he was "trash" I don't think he would have continued to keep being invited to Team USA u-18 camps for the past few years. Does that make him a future NBA star? Not sure, but just having an NBA career is a win compared to what, playing a year for Bill Self. Kid makes over a million, plays for a year, then goes to the league. Not seeing the downside here.
The Darius Garland point is spot on. He played for literally a handful of games, got hurt and is still a lotto pick.
Shyt once they can go straight from high school again I'd imagine even less will go overseas. At that point it's either NBA/G League or NCAACollege sports is not going anywhere. Their fanbase are the alumni of the schools. Those fans are going to cheer for their school no matter who's playing. You guys say this as if every high school player in America is going to start skipping college. The reality is this is only a viable option for the top 5-10 or o premier talents. There's still plenty of talent left. The Steph Curry's, Damian Lillard's, Ja Morant's are always going to be there for college
Y’all gotta stop acting like the NBA and NCAA aren’t on the same sideI heard Cali just passed a law for college athletes to start getting paid... Young breh has options..
Hopefully Adam Silver get rid of the one and done rule and let the 5 star recruit brehs get a crack at the G league right out of high school..
The tide is def turning
why not Spain?
He already has an shoe deal with New Balance worth $14 mil. Considering Kawhi got $20 mil deal from NB, I'd say he got a very good entry level shoe deal. We'll see where he gets drafted, but he's climbing up the boards already in a draft that has a lot of uncertainty after pick #4.

You didn’t ask me but they were ok. Not as good as you’d expect a team with an elite player to be though. Also fwiw the aau team he was running with this spring before he reclassified was doing terrible. They were either winless or had 1 win. After he reclassified I think they’ve gone 5-4 or something. I don’t put TOO MUCH stock in stuff like that but I think it’s worth noting. Breh is an elite offensive talent though.
Peavy for Duncanville is nice though. I think he’s going to rise in the rankings this summer. Won’t be surprised if he ends up better in the long run.
