They teamed up in the first Anarchy in the Arena when they hated each other as well. Eddie being a hothead dumbass ended up costing them the W as he wanted to "lit Jericho on fire", Danielson stopped on some you doing and then got caught at took the L.

And the whole point of their series of matches last year and this year was Eddie finally earning Danielson's respect.

It makes way more sense for them team up this year than last time, were Eddie only showed up because he was friendly with Mox.

Are they cool like that though? we don't know. But my point is that both of them going "fukk you, but fukk the Young Bucks too, let's kill them" makes way more sense now after their feud in 23'-24' than when they faced the JAS two years ago.
