The last fighter to beat Ugas decisively let Ugas be the aggressor to start, weathered the storm, and eventually wore him out with counters and right hooks...I wouldn't be surprised if that is part of the strategy Spence would possibly use tomorrow night

I was thinking Ugas was gonna wait and try to counterpunch Spence. If both play the waiting game we could be in for a boring first three rounds


But if Spence is mentioning Crawford’s name, he might come out swinging to establish he’s the A side in the mega fight.

I also think Spence/Ugas is gonna be a competitive fight. If Spence steamrolls him; I'd be super impressed. One thing that sticks out to me which I haven't seen anyone post is how physically strong Ugas is. I really noticed it in the Porter fight where Porter couldn't muscle him like he does with everyone else. I know Porter tried to box for the most part, but when he did decide to bang (Pause lol) Porter couldn't muscle him like he does everyone else. Also, Ugas is a damn good body puncher & I wanna see how Spence reacts to that when he's trying to go to Ugas's body. If there were a fight Spence could lose, it could be this because of the questions around his health or even ring rust. I expect Spence to win a tough decision

Both guys in tremendous shape. I think if the IBF didn’t have that 10 pound weight rehydration bullshyt for the champion that Spence would rehydrate close to 160. He’ll probably be like 155 tomorrow.

Skill wise, Ugas is a level above Swift. Word to @patscorpio lol

He has a better jab, longer reach, knows how to fight tall/control distance, & way better punch variety. His overall boxing skills are just better than Swift's; terrible comparison bro

***And like I said earlier, a lot of you are sleeping on Ugas physical strength. I'm curious to see if Spence can muscle him like he does to other fighters. I've rarely seen Ugas pinned on the ropes for an extended time. What happens if he can't impose his will on him? I think it's an interesting fight***

I think Spence will dominate Ugas, and maybe even stop him late. I can't see anyone as slow footed and slow handed as Ugas really troubling Spence at all. Ugas has a good defence, but I think he can be troubled by a good jab. Even the T-rex armed Porter had some success with his jab on the few times he used it against Ugas. Ugas also doesn't have the kind of size advantages he's used to. Plus, he's getting up there in age. Should be relatively easy for Spence.
