The plan is almost complete in chi. Detroit is doing the same thing right now... Chicago had more old heads hit with long ass jail times. I know nikkas here w legit business that still got control of the streets. Detroit started the no snitching, so while we have that, it's less here. definitely an increased police presence on the south side, but I RARELY ever see them arresting anyone. basically, the police come around, then nikkas leave. then the police go away, and they all come back and do what they been doing. hangin out, drinking, smoking, being loud etc.
