Well, this isn't 100%, Chi has way more people and less violent crimes. Detroit has barely 700k people, chi is over 2 million. Most people count Metro Detroit... Chi just isn't broken down like this; but the entire Metro Detroit (which is basically Detroit) has 5 million people, but if you compare crime Detroit is still worse because the worse streets in Detroit are worse than some of the worse villages in the middle east, and I've done a real life comparison. Detroit has some of the wealthiest areas in the nation surrounding it, BTW. NTM, every major US company has an office in Detroit just like Chi.
I say those two cities are almost even. Chi isn't failing worse than other cities... People are just more shocked at chi because it's such a great area other than nikkas poppin off.
Flint is different. Flint is worst than both Detroit and Chi is some areas. But overall Chi is OK. these are small pockets of gang member areas killing gang members. Places like the Detroit during the summer have literally a news story every other weekend about random women kidnapped and burned in trunks.
I go to Chi all the time.. it's not like Detroit at all. Regular people aren't in any danger there. In Detroit you can turn down a street and have all your senses and instincts go on full alert because you can tell ur gonna become part of the daily news. Some of the shyt that makes national headlines in Chi is typical and daily in Detroit.
But this is coming for a business person perspective, not a thug perceptive. I know if there is a business meeting in Chi, you can go and it's fine. If there is a business meeting in Detroit, u have to make sure every one knows exactly where to go and no one gets lost. The largest IT companies that moved downtown over the last few years.. have shuttles and buses that take people 20 feet to parking locations.. you can even request security to walk u to your car.
