They had not opened fire yet, nignog....I was just in Garfield Park the other day, it was so peaceful
We can thank Obama for this.
No nope naw. This crime wave is a different demographic.I've been cause the Puerto Rican festivals were past weekend and there were mad shootings and choppers in the sky - same thing every year...

Puerto Ricans stab with flip knives.
Blacks use guns and bullets.
Even I know that, and I avoid both chicago AND nyc.

Yeah but that's just due to where city boundaries are drawn though. If you trimmed off the lower crime areas that bring down the overall rate of the city, it would rank much higher. Places like Flint and Detroit don't have as many affluent areas to balance out the high crime areas bring down the average.
chicago has a population of 2 mil third largest city by population density. you have to consider all the murders always happen in the same isolated/remote parts so in that sense its extremely high. the real question is why have other big cities by population density been able to reduce violent crime but chicago is still behind.. what are they doing right that chicago is not

You're overgeneralizing. "Small pocket" of gangs? Do you not know Chicago has the highest number of street gangs in the nation?
Regular people aren't at risk? I can tell you haven't been around the city outside of area on the North Side or downtown.
Chicago isn't falling off, I agree. Business trips are more than likely going to be done in downtown, which is safe.
I've been to Detroit, and didn't feel scared. Only disgusted.
