here is a black female doctor with receipts. Yes this is a red pill video but the part I highlighted is from Vox, which is about as left leaning as you can get in American media
first she brings up the decline in fertility over time and then the increase in likelihood of defects over time

-Lower the cost of livingIt will only happen, if you lower the cost of living. If not, your entire perspective is null.
Make getting money easier, and you will see birthrates increase again.
Do you plan on having kids?
This. We don't have a community that provides direction or generational wealth. People have to get it out the mud and that takes time. We as a community marry later on average.Or maybe those women want to create stable homes for their future children and most cultures worldwide understand the basic fact that commitment is needed from both parties.
The human experience dictates we all won't find the right person at the same age.
O. P is clearly a juvenile.
Not every man nowadays have the means to be a sole provider. And some men who are established and able to be a sole provider, may don't want a woman who ain't on his level and not contributing to the expenses. Everyone nowadays ain't traditional or have those antiquated beliefs.Don't wait until 29 to stop playing the "women can be players too" game and stop thinking a career is valued by men capable and willing to provide a comfortable lifestyle.
Sense has been made.
I think what's happened is that our society runs counter to our nature. The best time for people of both sexes to have children is in our mid/late 20s, we're at our physical peak and this will result in the healthiest babies when we should have a reasonable amount of maturity and energy to take care of them.
But, we live in a society that's more complex than that, where most people can't really prosper until their late 20s or past their prime and so individuals must make concessions with their lives. A single man typically isn't making enough to support a family on his own and so women must value their own personal stability before considering a family and this wait does put them more at risk of a troublesome pregnancy.
But what are we to do? None of us can beat or break this system at the moment we need it to and so it'll either progress slowly or we'll get to a place that's too far from what we truly are and hit a breaking point.
Until then we'll live these fukked up lives where our population is shrinking, people are single for longer and longer and the only people who are having children are the ones who can afford it.
