I wrote much more than this just to erase it lol because it's pointless.

Sis...I just told you how y'all can do both or not be broke waiting on a man, because other it gets done, just not often enough especially with us. You just want me to concede that women at large can move in your 20s and early 30s like men when 95% of the time, y'all can't. You want the career? Have it. Just understand that you can't stall partnership and children in place of it and have the same smooth transition the way a man can. It is what is it is.

And for the record, we're roughly the same age.

This is the most frustrating conversation Ive had in a while. You got it, women should only have kids under 30. If the relationship they get into in college ends, too bad they need to stay single and never have kids. Also women need to stop trying to be men and by getting pregnant after 30. I agree you’re right no woman should wait to have kids.

So Cal
How is having kids in your mid 30s weird:dwillhuh:? After 35 having kids for a woman becomes more dangerous but thats really only if the woman is in terrible shape and spent her former years with alot of drugs/alcohol etc.

Huh, so only if the woman is literally the majority of women

Except the advice you challenged me to give my hypothetical daughter literally has her starting her family in her early 30s :heh:

This conversation is why we say women don't have logic. Instead of taking in what I'm saying, you're shutting down because I'm not conceding to your mentality.

I didn’t tell anyone what age to have kids. I started my career and I had both of my kids before 30.

of course you resort to the sexist bullshyt when you’re wrong about what I’m saying, I never gave any age for when anyone should have children but I’m just moving on with this, life clearly works out the same way for everyone in your world so if you say women should never have kids after 30 or else they’re trying to be men then you got it. :yeshrug: Why do you want to keep going?

The whole premise of this thread is weird as fukk. Having kids too soon is what holds a lot of people back in life and keeps folks stuck in the cycle of poverty.

How come every other month we have a thread on here about how the majority of Americans would be financially devastated by a $500 emergency expense, yet some of you are acting like you can't imagine why a woman would choose to put off having kids??

Find a dependable man when you’re 22-25. Preferably one that’s 27-28. Get married. Have kids. How hard is that?

You act like there's an overabundance of 27-28yr old "dependable" men who want to get married at that age.

Matter of fact, what does "dependable" even mean in this scenario? How many 27/28yr old nikkas you know are marriage minded like that? And even then, how many of them are making enough $$ to fully financially support a wife and kid(s)? And trust that I mean providing 100% of the household income cause you not doing no 50/50 rent splitting and going half on a baby with 22yr old chick.

It's pretty wild that you'd say some shyt like this when every day I logon to thecolidotcom and see a thousand and one #GMB threads and comments.

I gave you the answer breh. You don’t want to listen. Other races do it everyday. How come they find their significant others in college or right after college but we can’t?

Hmm yes excellent question. Why is it that other races seem to have it easier when it comes to so many things? It's quite the mystery!

One girl told me the reason she was 38 and childless was because she was on/off with the same dude for 15 years..She said he had 2 kids in those 15 years i looked at her like she was crazy. These bytches waste all their good years then want nikkaz to simp on them when they old and washed up.

That shyt will never make sense to me, after a certain period of time wtf are they expecting to happen :mindblown:

the funny thing about the 'career' thing is 98% of people dont have careers they have jobs lol. It would be one thing if everyone was become Senior directors let alone executives lol. Lotta women hit their late 30s and max out in a Sr Analyst role and see it was all for nothing, especially when most folks who dont climb into leadership become risk for layoffs in their 40s.

You see it, I will never shyt on anyone gainfully employed but let's use word's correctly, they don't have careers nor are they bosses or entrepreneurs etc

That's a funny way of saying CAREER breh. Anyway, not everyone pursuing career advancement is looking for a C-suite title so the distinction doesn't matter. It's about salary, seniority and increased perks/benefits.

You dont have to sacrifice your life to not climb the ladder which is in direct contradiction to the career focus argument.

exactly. If you want to work then work but the career argument is one of someone seeking an UPWARD trajectory. Most these folks after they get promotions from jr roles just do lateral moves forever

You don't even know what the word CAREER means so you should probably just shut the fukk up.

We do not need more young mothers in the Black community:stopitslime:
So we should have a bunch of 35+ year old women having kids then:gucci:

My suggestion to women who want kids is to find a good man to make them with while they are still in their reproductive prime aka THEIR 20S.

Around age 22 to 29 imo is a good time if they have the right partner. Less chance for high risk pregnancy and enough time for her body to snap back.

Or maybe those women want to create stable homes for their future children and most cultures worldwide understand the basic fact that commitment is needed from both parties.

The human experience dictates we all won't find the right person at the same age.

O. P is clearly a juvenile.

Negged.
