That could work, then have the person who attacks Cody after him telling the Rock "No" could be revealed to be The Rock's chosen champion.

I'm hoping it's Punk, but it'll likely be Drew. Punk has modeled himself too much as a matured but still rebellious anti hero for the people for a sudden heel turn shift in that direction to make sense IMO, but it also depends on how they tell it.

The Drew situation is weird because he was positioned as a B+ guy but has been overperforming as an A+ guy for over a year straight, so the company has to decide: are we gonna continue to treat him like a B+ guy or give him a raise and that main event spot?

Drew also is one of the only wrestlers to have pinned Cody Rhodes since returning lol. Drew has been putting on great matches, great promos, and is a realistic character with morals and convictions.


Drew and Punk both work and I wouldn't be mad at the outcome. BUT since Drew LOST to Punk, I feel Punk makes more sense as a theat. Plus Punk just warned Cody he's gonna stab him in the front.

That promo was heat. Gotta cash in on it.

This is not a troll, but the ladder match they had in PWG is even better. More drama and the added touch of a fukked up ladder (because it's an indy fed that couldn't afford a better one) is . The BOLA final between them is a nice build to the ladder match as well.

They should just do Cody vs Punk on some face vs anti hero face shyt and then right when Cody is about to beat Punk the Rock comes out to help Punk win
