Only thing is I don’t see them doing Rock vs Rome without it being the main event most likely night 2, that’s the only thing I see making them go

Other than that they can do Rome vs Punk and maybe run back Seth vs Drew if they don’t make Rome Punk Seth a triple threat. Maybe even a 4 way

He’s an anti hero type face right now. He mostly made peace with Cody, Jimmy, Jey, and Sami. He even played nice with Punk. It’s painful how sloppy their booking of Roman this year is. I get why last year turned out like it did (a byproduct of continuing his run as champion for a year longer than it’s natural expiration date), but the matches for him this year are so clearly either 1 on 1 vs Seth or Rock and if Rock isn’t available for that match then they needed to commit 100% to Roman vs Seth. He’s one of your 4 biggest names and he feels almost directionless.

Roman's story this year was clearly him facing Solo to determine the real Tribal Chief, but they needed a big match for the Netflix premiere. Then, for a minute, I thought his story was facing Drew because for the past couple months, Drew's been obsessed with destroying the OG Bloodline. He interfered in Tribal Combat and entered the Rumble specifically to keep Roman from winning it, then they dropped it.

They're course-correcting now, but a lot of guys' WrestleMania plans were fukked up by Rock taking his time to commit and the Netflix premiere burning off three big matches.

I am curious to see how they get to Roman/Punk/Seth, if that is the plan. Not enough heat with Roman/Punk and a triple threat right now feels more like a handicap match on Seth. A big disagreement would have to happen between Punk and Roman. But if it is just about Seth, they can alternate whooping his ass ie Punk at Mania and Roman at Backlash.

Something bigger would have to happen along with this favor. Rumble elimination wasn't enough. Roman's done the same.
