NO
No, the goal of life is to repopulate and spread, going into space advances that goal.

As long as we're on this planet we can go extinct, if the human race can get off this rock and spread to other planets then the odds of our species going extinct drop dramatically.

Exploring space and spreading should be the only goal we have :yeshrug:
Do you really think, considering humanity's history, if we leave Earth that we have the best intention's if we were to meet another civilization? :stopitslime:

ANd what if they were humanoid? :lupe: And Black? :merchant:

That isn't even all of it. The multiverse is absolutely infinite.

Infinity goes the other way too. There's absolute infinity inside you too :blessed:

You can zoom out infinitely and can zoom in infintely too. :mindblown:

We, as humans, are just as big as the biggest objects in those pictures to everything smaller than us. Think about that. We're not so small after all :mjpls:
as above, so below

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
well what is it? When was time created...does it exist? Or is everything the present? Just cuz u own a watch doesnt prove time.

It's just an intangible concept that humans put a name to.
actually it's the measurement of how long it takes the earth to orbit the sun and revolve 360 degrees... welcome to 2nd grade science class

time is nothing more than a measurement.. like pounds, grams, miles and meters

:mjlol: nikka are you high?

you looked at all that shyt, and the first thing that popped in your mind is some species from a far away galaxy that has a basketball team better than the 1996 chicago bulls.

same shyt. i cant believe anyone can look at stuff like this and think there is a god. isnt the bible the word of god? how come it doesnt talk about how god created those billions of other galaxies, and those trillions of other suns...and those quadrillions of other planets? or how about the fact that galaxies are still forming? in that case, shouldnt the bible be an ongoing piece of work thats routinely updated? shyt just doesnt add up.

When I see all the shyt thats out there..I think we have the intelligence to travel to these far off galaxies. But I dont think we have the resources. I think we're afforded the resources to do shyt in our galaxy. I think there are materials and elements in other galaxies that we have no idea about...

I dunno when I look at stuff like this...it really puts into perspective the fact that everything we've ever learned as mankind, is really just insignificant and essentially worthless compared to what else is out there.
why do you attribute the words of man (the bible) in ONE book of many (bible) to be equal to god???

can't there be a god, that simply has zero to do with anything in that book?

i don't believe in the bible either.. but i believe in god and an afterlife.

why cna't god be the sum of all the energy in the universe... since energy is never created nor destroyed?? why can't god be a lot of things??

same people who don't believe in god will believe in fate, karma, luck, aliens, aura, chi, monogamy, love and a whole bunch of other silly man made shyt

The fact that people are so amazed by the fact that the universe is bigger than Earth or the fact that the Earth is smaller than the sun which is smaller than a lot of other stars is pretty embarrassing. These lists get posted like 5 times a year and the response is always the same. Am I the only one who knew about galaxies and the sizes of suns since I was like 8?

:what:STFU and let us enjoy the thread.
