Thats something we don't think about, but Hella science fiction writers have based books/movies on this subject.

This is actually why space travel is more important than silly wars. Cause one day the SUN is gonna be like:deadrose:
And NASA gonna look at the government like

Luckily not for millions of years though:whew:

7 billion years actually & It's taking earth and a whole lot more with it.

some of these distances are so big that while we know that they're huge, we just can't fully grasp the concept

i just wish that i could travel along space and see all the things that are in it. just be able to travel and observe

We have a nasty future ahead of us.

It estimates that everything, including the universe, will have ceased to exist within 100 quintillion years. But looking ahead, there is worse in store than the extinction of everything. Here are some of the key events listed.

Greenland's ice sheet to disappearReuters
2,000 years: The Greenland ice sheets will melt.

5,125 years: The next Mayan calendar ends – possibly bringing an end to the world, possibly not.

13,000 years: The Northern hemisphere will suffer from extreme weather as the Earth's axial tilt reverses.

20,000 years: The site of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster will finally be safe.

50,000 years: Niagara Falls will have disappeared.

100,000 years: A supervocano or climate altering asteroid will have caused a mass extinction event on Earth, wiping out most life. At this point, all laptops will have dissolved and all glass will have degraded.

10,000,000 years: The Red Sea will flood, dividing Africa and forming a new ocean.

50,000,000 years: Shifting continents cause Australia and Indonesia to merge.

250,000,000 years: All the continents will fuse, creating one giant supercontinent.

1,000,000,000 years: The Sun's luminosity increases causing all Earth's oceans to evaporate, leaving a hot lifeless rock.

Cockroaches will be some of the last life forms left on Earthyou2share.blogspot.com
2,800,000,000 years: All life on Earth ceases to exist including cockroaches and bacteria.

5,400,000,000 years: The Sun will swell to become a red giant, consuming all nearby planets.

20,000,000,000 years: The universe expands causing all matter to be torn apart, making distances infinite.

110,000,000,000,000 years: All stars are now dead.

100,000,000,000,000,000,000 years: If it has not already been consumed by the Sun, Earth's orbit will decay and it will plunge into the sun and die.

That isn't even all of it. The multiverse is absolutely infinite.

Infinity goes the other way too. There's absolute infinity inside you too :blessed:

You can zoom out infinitely and can zoom in infintely too. :mindblown:

We, as humans, are just as big as the biggest objects in those pictures to everything smaller than us. Think about that. We're not so small after all :mjpls:

The crazy part is that movies like thor may not be hat far off from the future brehs. nikkas travelling to different galaxies with whole different sets of rules and life.

I wouldn't be surprised if theres an alternate version of humanity. Where we look similar based on the steps all civilizations go through ad evolution. I bet even the aliens look inherently the same...

*puts down blunt* *mind blown* *drops mic*

damn this is straight outta comic books:dwillhuh:

imagine if an advanced alien race like the Kree or Celestials planted life on thousands of planets with each being different to see how evolution changes them. in the comics that led to the evolution of some humans having the x gene and also led to the creation of the eternals, deviants, and inhumans.

what if that's what happened to us and we're just an experiment:damn:

Scientist are some of the biggest liars. Making hypothesis and guesstimate sound like facts. There's no way to measure the distances stated in this thread. Measuring with a telescope.

These CACs are eyeballing galaxies and you fool believe em.:mjlol:

NO
Its amazing how small and insignificant we are in the universe. Which is why think we shouldn't waste our time with these needless wars and advance our species to explore the galaxy one day. Remember the sun is dying, not in our lifetime but still dying nonetheless.
The Sun won't faze out until another billion years. Humanity wouldn't even last that long. :stopitslime:
