Whenever I travel I buy a sim, once I leave I never use that number again. I had like 3 uk numbers last year, an israeli number, a nigerian glo number etc. all have been disconnected

At a conservative estimate I would guess that the Chinese downplayed their stats by a factor of 10, so in reality it was probably around 800,000 cases with 30,000 deaths

I like how this dumb article says the loss in cell phone users can't be explained. When there are people who have multiple sim cards for business purposes, there are foreigners who lived in China working there, but had to come back home until things settle down. Many many other factors.
