The Chinese did lie about the extent of deaths.

British Intelligence put the figure at X 40 what the Chinese Gov't was reporting.

And Chinese residents have reported that the incinerators are running 24/7, and thousands of urns have been sent to funeral homes, a number far exceeding what is being reported.

20 million is less than 2% of their population, which is not entirely far fetched if you consider the amount of time it had to spread till now, November 2019 to April 2020, is 5 months to spread in a sprawling densely populated shyt hole..
