There were 4 commentators for in game action

Then they cut to 4 more on the PA loud speaker

Lol. An unbelievable night

It wasn’t as horrible as the past few years but this still ain’t it
They should have just had Kevin hart do commentary, having him on the loud speaker was a horrible decision it didn’t work. They put him in a terrible spot, no comedian would’ve been funny in that spot.

It seems like the people running the nba are out of touch and this was an idea created by a bunch of people that have degrees and experts instead of basketball fans.

It’s s 50% on the players for being no fun and 50% on the league for not being able to pivot.

This format cannot continue, the top stars are always going to beat the rising stars and international teams.

Worst all star game ever

I had to watch the recording so I could skip through boring segments, annoying bytch ass kevin hart commentary and unfortunately boring ass tnt commentary as well. They looked and sounded like they were forcing themselves to like it.


What a pathetic team tournament format as well.


Just end this all-star game misery already for fukk sakes. Give out in-season awards to NBA players, so the all-star game selection award tradition could continue, and just bring the in-season tournament for the all-star weekend.

No format will make these players give a shyt about anything but themselves. They play way harder during the offseason when they're supposed to be chilling and on vacation

I actually don’t think the format was the issue at all other than the target score needing to be higher. The actual gameplay was more interesting to watch than the last few years

The biggest issue is TNT’s presentation was a complete abomination. The good of it is people can leave their nostalgia of what it used to be 20 years ago behind and be happy they’re getting out now

Increase the target score to 50 or 60, add two more players to each conference and do four 7 man teams of all-stars instead of three 8 man teams including the rising stars
