everyone calling out Dominicans and Puerto Ricans.
Bill Maher is not only disingenuous, he is also less informed than a lot of us on the coli.

You're taking political talking points from a guy who didn't know who Lina Kahn was until this year (he admitted on an episode recently) and said he is not sure whether or not crime numbers are going down.
remember when Democrats thought that kamala was gonna win because some comedian made a joke about puerto rico at a trump rally, and then trump won latino men outright :mjlol:

that is what needs to be addressed. Democrats can no longer just call Republicans racist, and expect minorities to vote for them

Working class left leaning voters care about that shyt - right leaning voters think business men will save them. Two different mindsets.

Hmm curious what you mean by that? :patrice: Left-leaning working class? White folks? black folks? Bernie bros?

what if he does, though? what if he brings down diesel, and gives them a nice tax break, and they tangibly see that happen?

this is the thing that Democrats are having a hard time dealing with. what if he DOES help your cousins? will they still have been wrong to have voted for him? or is it then OK to admit that they had every right to vote for him, and it paid off?

the era of Dems thinking they're "owed" votes from minorities, because republicans are the worse white people, might be over :dead:
Republicans can’t govern and are terrible at economics. That’s the thing, they won’t help because to help is to redistribute wealth and invest in the middle class

The crime numbers reminds me a lot of the economy argument and how you reach voters. A lot of the argument from the Biden admin was that the economy was great. A lot of statistics, a lot of studies, a lot of economists, but when people who don't even follow that kind of shyt, are paying more, it feels like a lie, and a denial of lived reality.

The crime thing, I follow crime stats, I know about homicide rates and per capita blah blah, but I also know that in somewhere like San Diego, and LA, and SF, and Phoenix, you are going to see homeless people smoking meth and fentanyl in public on a daily basis. I live in a high rent area in downtown SD, everyday when I walk my area, myself and hundreds of others see that shyt.

and look, I laugh at it sometimes. That's all Sinaloa Cartel product That's Ivan Guzman's legacy. it's a cold world. BUT, if you are an average law abiding citizen, that shyt probably burns you up to see people living in tents near your families home, and smoking fent openly with ZERO consequences. so you tell people crime numbers are down, it feels like total bullshyt.

you'd better hope so, because that sure wasn't the sentiment in this country in 2019, and everyone in here knows it :yeshrug:

this is bullshyt, breh. people were pretty happy with the economy after the tax cuts, by 2019. the economy in 2019 was as good or better than any single obama year

it's total revisionist history and partisan hackery to pretend that economic sentiment was not AT LEAST as high as we ever saw under obama, pre-covid. hell; hoping for a return to 2019 is literally the fukking reason trump just won :dead:

:mjpls:

He means black people

The world is still searching for a left leaning working class white male :mjpls:

Bernie’s audience is progressive white folks and working class white folks and anybody else who may happen to benefit after the former groups get theirs

While this is true, the reality is that people in the battleground states that swung back to Trump aren't seeing this. Rurual America isn't seeing this either. The Right has effectively won the misinformation war and Dems have no clue how to overcome that. Even the "left leaning" media institutions profit more from highlighting negativity that is effectively spun by Republicans blaming the left. How much coverage did we see of the Chip Act or Anti-Inflationary measures the Biden admin took, which actually worked and REDUCED inflation? The Right has a stranglehold on messaging right now and because of that facts literally don't matter.

Every election we acknowledge that @the cac mamba is the best read through for the average American voter, and then we all quickly forget it.

“Postmortem polling by @Blueprint_2024 finds that the top reason for not choosing Harris among swing voters was that she "is focused more on cultural issues like transgender issues rather than helping the middle class."”
This is their go to instead admitting they just don’t like the gays.

Harris said very little about cultural stuff.

The plans on her website said very little about cultural stuff. And EVERYTHING about economic stuff.

Even when pushed on trans stuff all she said was “ i will follow the law”

What she didn’t do is is attack the gays. That’s what the nasty cacs like about trump. He’s not afraid to say it. And he said very little about economic stuff.

So it’s actually projection from them. They care ONLY about cultural stuff, at the behest of everything else.

Same reason why usually here it’s only @the cac mamba talking about trannies unprovoked,

They are obsessed with hating/controlling other people :smh:

People was happy with OBAMAS economy you're too well adverse in politics to not know economies lag at scale . We had several indications the economy was about to tank even before covid.
