I think it says something that a billionaire like Trump can cozy up to billionaires like Musk who warned that there will be "necessary economic hardship" all while millionaires like Rogan cheer him on and still be seen as "populist". Meanwhile if Kamala doesn't denounce Cuban she's in the pocket of corporate elites. Being white really is a cheat code. :francis:
Working class left leaning voters care about that shyt - right leaning voters think business men will save them. Two different mindsets.

She dragged some down and ran behind others. The administration we agree was the problem. But it was the one favored by black folks, we need to admit that. Tony West types are part of the problem. If the Dems pivot off black people. It will be the fault of people like him and not Bernie. Dems want that Latino vote.
She didn't drag down anyone in fact ny district races overperfomed. Most district races hit exact polling, north carolina overperformed dems now have a slight majority in house. Dems kept majority in oa they were expected to lose.

Fact Bernie had 183k votes in 2018
Bernie had 243k votes in 2024

Difference? Trump was on the ballot and a dem was on the ballot.

No it was not one favored by blacks. What do cats be talking about? How many brothers do you think have Tony West sort of roles? It was the one favored by moneyed interests regardless of color.

Idk how to quantify the damage but the fall out from this loss may be massive. I see blacks shytting on Arabs for supporting trump, whites openly asking for mexicans to be deported, everyone calling out Dominicans and Puerto Ricans. White folks may go unscathed this time :dead:

She wasn't though. Maybe in 2019.
the damage was done, though

besides the obvious republican :mjpls: tactic of painting a black/indian woman as a far left radical, the ridiculous progressive shyt kamala was on tape saying in 2020 is what cemented the perception of her. not what she was saying in 2024. the damage was done :snoop:

she's literally on tape calling to eliminate all health insurance, ban fracking, and pay for tranny surgery for prisoners and illegals. and republicans ran with it

WASHINGTON, DC
was it economics, culture war, or gaza? or combo of all that?
all of it

Just like the stories about Latinos talking about prices going up, I've heard my own family members on both sides saying they were voting Trump on that.

My damn cousins who own a trucking company are voting Trump cause they think he's going to help them :snoop:

My dad's youngest brother told me he was voting Trump cause of the culture war. I debated my uncle on this and had to remind him what Trump has done and even clear up the Biden record which he didn't even know about.

And of course, Gaza for many is a redline and there was a desire to punish the Biden administration.

With that said, many Somalis and other members of my family voted Dem. My dad hates the GOP so much. My mom hates Trump and can't believe the shid he always says every day.

what if he does, though? what if he brings down diesel, and gives them a nice tax break, and they tangibly see that happen?

this is the thing that Democrats are having a hard time dealing with. what if he DOES help your cousins? will they still have been wrong to have voted for him? or is it then OK to admit that they had every right to vote for him, and it paid off?

the era of Dems thinking they're "owed" votes from minorities, because republicans are the worse white people, might be over :dead:

i can't wait for Bill Maher to go off on progressives tonight :laff:

he predicted Kamala winning, he's gonna be disgusted

Bill Maher is not only disingenuous, he is also less informed than a lot of us on the coli.

You're taking political talking points from a guy who didn't know who Lina Kahn was until this year (he admitted on an episode recently) and also said he is not sure whether or not crime numbers are going down.
