or were dems too weak and soft to bring that up? post me a clip of kamala mentioning that during the campaign, not telling us she grew up in middle class family and worked at mcdonalds

It wouldn't matter they'd just say it's a handout to black people or something.

I really don’t think progressives are cut out for politics.

it’s like they forget what the word politics definition is

You have to meet voters halfway wheter they are stupid ignorant hateful whatever you need some of their votes unfortunately

So you have two choices you can do things the “right way” don’t pander to anyone on the fence and dismiss them and continue to lose elections and put marginalized people like trannies in danger or you could do whatever it takes to win elections so you can continue to protect their rights

So wheter you think it’s goofy for these people to overreact to some of the tranny stuff is meaningless they do overreact and you need their votes

So when people bring up trannies in sports you can say “we protect the trans community and their rights and we think this is a overblown issue that rarely happens but yes we think it’s dangerous for someone with a man’s bone density to fight a women”

When there is video of a tranny giving a kid a lap dance in school Dems can come out and say:

“We protect trans rights to the fullest and we do not think this is something that happens much at all or is reflective in anyway of the trans community but we disavow anyone giving children lap dances”

It’s not fukking hard!

But if you think that’s going too far and not the “right thing to do” and it’s more important to virtue signal and lose elections then get across the finish line by any means necessary so you can continue to make sure trans people are protected you’re entitled to that

But don’t be shocked if it backfires
With all due respect, you just started following politics this year at 44.

What do you think a progressive is? What do they stand for? I feel like you are mainlining what’s in the mainstream and just repeating it.

That’s not the argument. It’s that the higher taxes would lead to growth which will ultimately benefit them anyway.

Corporations need increased demand more than they need a lower tax rate
Tell that to the corporations and wealthy who are fighting higher tax rates.

I agree but Dems need to go on the shows. It makes no sense why Dems aren’t on Rogan and Adin Ross streams

I get why Kamala didn’t do it because she doesn’t possess that type of political ability. But the Walz, Newsoms, and Buttgiegs, of the party would have these people eating out the palm of their hands.

Even a younger Biden would’ve went on these red pilled shows and countered the ridiculous rhetoric
I agree with all this. Dems would be better off going on the Joe Rogans, Theo Vonns and Logan Corporations need increased demand more than they need a lower tax rate instead of trying to make their own, who would at best just create an echo chamber for them and at worst would actually criticize them from the left.

You don't need a 'liberal Joe Rogan.' Just go on regular Joe Rogan. He's not argumentative or politically knowledgeable enough to push back that much, and they'll look stronger going into the 'lion's den' of those types of podcasts.

I think she should have done Rogan and I said that on here.

Get out of the fukking bubble. These political consultants don’t know anyone. That “ewww, they stink,” shyt that Dems have is weird.

No one is trying to win the racist vote but racists.

The left should be focused on the 80 million people who don’t vote.

This is cap.

I fukk with Bernie on policies I'd like to see, but he stays thinking he's going to get people like this to vote Dem by offering healthcare or financial incentives.

Bernie thought he was going to bring new voters. He was never courting racist voters. That’s cap.

Agreed

Jon Stewart is the closest in terms of being political yet also entertaining enough to capture non political junkies but I don’t know if he has the same pull he used to

Dems could have used him years ago starting a Rogan type podcast where he doesn’t just do politics or political guests but it’s a huge part of it along with comedians and everyone else so you could get non political people and maybe convert some

You need someone like Stewart who’s funny and entertaining as well but not preachy or houlier then thou
This will probably be the hardest part honestly.
