Fair. I’m talking progressive in this case only in the sense of purity Olympics in politics.

I feel progressives or “far left” or whatever you want to label it are more likely to want to stand their ground politically and not pander or give lip service at all to any voters who might be ignorant bigoted or whatever.

Where I feel politics is a dirty game and you do what you have to to try to get some of these peoples votes rather then ignore them completely

Winning is more important to groups like the trans community to protect them rather then pandering too far to them losing elections for the sake of purity

The tariff situation is such a unsurprising thing. A lot of people really thought that China(and other countries) would just take the hit and not pass it along to the consumer.

One thing to look out for is the student loan situation. With SAVE act possibly getting gutted, student loan payments for most will double and become unaffordable.
