I really don't care, at all. Some white girl came in 5th in a race, complained and became a darling of the right. Conservatives then did a masterful job tying that to Democrats who had nothing to do with it.
What y'all don't seem to understand is that the Right doesn't want LGBTQ people to EXIST. I'm old enough to remember Matthew Shepard. That's the country they want to bring back. They're using "protection of women's sports" which they've NEVER cared about to trojan horse their extremism back into the mainstream. Now that they're in power they will work to outlaw gender affirming surgery for everyone, regardless of age and it won't stop there. Best believe they'll be looking to outlaw gay marriage as well.
What do you think they mean by Make American Great Again? They want a world dominated by white Christian values, where gays don't exist/are back in the closet and every other minority is subservient to white men. Why do you think they have two billionaire products of apartheid bankrolling them?
I don't engage in Non-Harlem behavior, but a lot of people want to kill off gay people by the thousands and pull hate crimes with no consequences. Those same people don't have that same energy towards their favorite rapper or athlete who engages in that lifestyle

At this point I think we have to accept that sometime in the 2010s, social media made everyone dumb and racist.
