If the rumors are true, this already happened to plenty of Kamala's former staffers as there was a ton of infighting from months back.

Pelosi, Schumer, and the rest of the swamp creatures will escape largely unscathed. Obama's legacy is ruined but he'll try to maintain control of the party. If Bernie Sanders finally stops being loyal he may have a legit chance but I doubt he's ever had that kind of spine. AOC and the rest are completely irrelevant outside of TV spots so they won't ever do impactful things for the party anyway.



OK? I'm not even damning Biden's health here. I'm pointing out how the DNC had a chance to prepare a candidate for 2 years ahead of time. The great advantage of a primary system? Finding out what your OWN voters actually care about. All the activists posing as politicians, the gender debates, and emotional manipulation would have been axed in the primary debates and internal polls.



This wasn't a narrow win at all. This is going down as possibly the worst election loss in U.S. history. The Democrats lost everything from the Federal level to State legislatures. Biden's legacy is definitely fukked but to be honest it possibly was before this election even took place.

To the bolded - I agree. He not only has the mandate, but he has a team behind him (Vivek, Musk, Tulsi, RFK) and he courted a lot of high-level Democrats upset with the party. Add in the fukkery that resulted in his martyr persona and this is a pretty bad situation to be facing if you're a Democrat. Almost as if no one would blame him for being vengeful.

Michelle Obama specifically rejected the idea of running because how nasty this country is.

I’m pretty certain Kamala would have preferred being VP2 than being thrown in trying to win this shyt 150 days before the election.

I commend her for her composure and accomplishments with the hand she was dealt.

And the whole time she was expected to be exceptional in the face of the other side being allowed to be terrible.
