Trump went and talked to actual voters, then activated a bunch of new ones to vote for him. In 2016, he was unequivocally a good campaigner.

And he still would have lost had Hillary bothered to actually visit voters and talk to them, but she basically stayed cloistered and distant, let Trump set the narrative about her, failed to get her own voters excited, and relied on nonsense Robby Mook narratives about AZ and GA coming through for her one cycle too early.

Trump had the wind at his back.
Not saying he didn’t have a good campaign message cause he did. It’s just one of those things where a bunch of scenarios line up.

its rare for a party to stay in power for 12 years. After 8 years of Obama, the GOP had the argument to make for change. Same as Obama did in 08.

The voters he activated were the disaffected of the 08 economic crisis. The same thing Trump is trying now except we’ve already seen his economic playbook.

Last Hilary had a built-in negative perception. They tried it with Biden but he just doesn’t elicit the same anger as a Democratic Clinton.

And a large part of Hilary’s message was that we owed her a shot and the first woman president. Two things Kamala has avoided like a plague.

I said that though the media was going 100MPH on the poor debate performance. People were "shocked" at how garbage Trump looked in the debate against Kamala but the thing is... he was just as garbage in the debate vs. Biden. But nobody would call it out.

The last emerson national poll has trump and harris tied, it is the same thing with NBC news poll and NYT siena national poll, this are very credible reputable organizations for years, this should be a warning sign for harris , she is trailing biden and clinton margins on the national poll, she still can win the swing states but this race is going to be very tight, it can literally be tighter than bush/gore

Biden would have won if the dems didn’t throw him in the bushes publicly. If they didn’t do that it would be a lot closer than it is now but I think he’d win by a whisker
