Well, this is a huge L to hold. Egg on my face for sure.

A lot of what I thought to be true was challenged last night and I wake up in a world today that I don't know as well as I thought I did.

For many people, it's the economy. I'm insulated a bit because of my salary so perhaps that is one thing I hadn't thought of too much. I know that inflation is everywhere but it's among the lowest here stateside. The huge shifts in Latino voting though is something that is currently beyond my scope of understanding.

I'm usually in the camp of glass half full, etc. I don't have it in me today to turn the other cheek though. For everyone that voted Democrat, I hurt for people that will be affected by this regime. For those that voted Republican, I hope that you get all this administration gives you and more and how you'll realize the foolishness of your vote when it's too late. I'll largely be alright. Two bachelor's degrees, an MBA and being a CPA. I'm not stressing from a financial standpoint, it's about civil liberties that will be trampled on and over.

All in all, buckle up, the sequel is going to be way more insane than the original.

Nobody said it was the 'primary' issue.

The issue was that in an election that was expected to be very close, were the Democrats turning off key voters in key swing states.

It's looking like even if every third party voter in states like Michigan and Wisconsin had gone for Kamala, she still would have lost, but apparently turnout was down, so we don't know how many people just stayed home.
