If Biden didnt need Progressives why did he pick Kamala as his VP, picked up some of Bernies people for his admin, and put Warren in the cabinet? You are choosing to focus on 2020 when the Dems squeaked out a victory during a global pandemic and not the 2016 and 2024 rejections of the status quo. You're also choosing to ignore how much of that 2018 blue wave was on the backs of progressive policies. Youre just posting emotionally like this is a playoff loss breakdown of a sport you enjoy but cant fully grasp how its played

so now Kamala was meant to motivate Progressives lol? the same woman I've heard thousands of people on The Coli and Reddit call a black-man hating jail czar and a neo-con in disguise. Yall hate her ass. Bernie Sanders is a Progressive. Kamala is a moderate Democrat that was willing to listen to your ideas. Biden picked Kamala because he wanted to appeal to average everyday black women and black elders. Our mommas. Our grandmommas. Our aunties. Our sisters. None of them are on that Bernie Bro nonsense. And just so I can refresh your memory, Biden won because he appealed to the Midwest. Bernie lost because the majority of the country wasn't going for it. I was in the Higher Learning threads in 2019. Bernie Bros were bitter to the very last day about Biden being the candidate so chill out with the revisionist history. Yall can't win nationally so yall keep hitching yourself to our bandwagon eventhough you really hate us deep down. Take the bolded for instance smh. Anybody that votes for Trump twice or doesn't vote twice while claiming we're in this together isn't someone I wanna be around. Yall need to start your own party :yeshrug:

:what: How the fucc did progressives 'backstab' or fukk over anybody in 2024.

'Y'all' fukked yourselves by supporting an extremely unpopular genocide and refusing to pivot.

They literally tried that in 2024 and lost every single one of those states. :laff:

Well IDK maybe it was not voting in 2016 and 2024 and telling everybody on every social media platform about it for months.

Could be that.

It makes ZERO SENSE to give a fukk about y'all. You're 5% of the population at best and most of yall live in Democratic States. You serve no purpose except to bytch. Democrats have tried to tweak their policies to appeal to yall even though it's never gonna be enough to pass your purity test and it just ends up with us alienating the cacs in the middle while still not getting your loyalty anyway. So what's the point :childplease:If I was the DNC, I'd pick the caciest cac I could find for 2028, tall, handsome, preferably from somewhere in the South or the Midwest, and pretend yall doesn't exist :russell:

This is hilarious. Even Liberal stalwarts like Carville are admitting Yung Bern was right.

We needed a real populist to defeat a fake populist. It’s clear that voters were unhappy with the status quo and were looking for change and someone to blame. Trump offered them immigrants, DEI and gays. Dems had nothing.

We and I say we, won’t win until we figure out why 10 million people who voted in 2020 sat out the election in 2024.

Yeah. I especially liked it when they supported a genocide for a year, made zero attempts to pivot, and just told muslim voters to shut the fukk up.

Really 'tweaked' their policies there. :francis:

'd pick the caciest cac I could find for 2028, tall, handsome,

If Bernie was right, Bernie would've won.

10 Million people sat home because Biden, a white man, a long-term Senator & VP, appealed to cacs in the Midwest and the other Swing States.

The cacs that voted for him wouldn't vote for Kamala.

What's hilarious is you contorting yourself to avoid that obvious conclusion...arguing about what COULD happen, and thinking it holds more value than what DID happen.

What’s funny is that decrepit warlord’s own internal polls showed he was heading towards a 400 EV loss. He knew it, hid it and ran anyway.

Worst Dem candidate in decades. (Until he was forced out) And he managed to fukk up his own legacy almost as bad as LBJ.

This shyt would be funny if it wasn’t so fukking tragic.

And yet he wonders why I said fukk yall. Start your own party breh. You're not wanted.

How does that make sense when Obama put his thumb on the scale to make sure Bernie didn't win as it would have been looked at as a repudiation of Obama's milquetost liberalism.

I don't know who's more of a crybaby. Trump voters after 2020 or Bernie voters after the primary. Obama didn't force people to vote breh.

Facts. The liberal faction is so arrogantly wrong, it’s not even funny. They were wrong with Hillary in 2016, wrong with keeping Biden as a candidate even as late as July of 2024, wrong on Gaza, wrong on how to confront a fake populist. These nikkas are just wrong.

The liberal leaders are serving their corporate masters. I get that. What I don’t get is the hostility to progressives by everyday liberals like HL’s Blue MAGA faction.

Even after fukking up time and time again, they keep insisting we have to run the same playbook. Then they wonder why we call the Blue MAGA. It’s a cult.

It's just nonsensical to have Trump on the ballot three times straight and basically lose 2/3 and insist that nothing went wrong and it's some how because they weren't to the right enough, after Kamala campaigned with a Cheney for most of her last visits.

I thought she could still pull through, but it didn't work out and in the end. At this point, there needs to be a changing of the guard and an end to what they were. The Republicans would be having the same conversation if they lost here after barely making gains in 2022. A lot of people are upset with the how the party is running, that's a fact.

It's bizarre to see people on here celebrating people getting deported and muslims getting bombed out by Trump.

We had people cheering a war in the Middle East in an election year. A fukking election year. Two wars when you include Russia. We had people supporting a brain dead president even after he disqualified himself in the most embarrassing debate performance in recent history.

This election was a painful loss, but, it was deserved. Joseph Robinette Biden will go down as one of the worst Democratic presidents of recent history.
