@Ozymandeas having a mini-tantrum (well y'all can just fukk off and have your own party then) :pachaha:

And it just goes to show the monumental challenge ahead for the DeMIDcrats... They have to conquer MAGA but they first got to let go of their burnt egos and rear ends, and admit that losing to Donald fukking Trump 8 years out of 12 is a signal that there is something fundamentally wrong with the party's approach to politics.

That's hard work though, and it's way more honest and eschewing of big/dirty money. It's easier to blame the commies leftists, and double down on betting on that sliver of voters in the blue wall coming through :pachaha:

How does that make sense when Obama put his thumb on the scale to make sure Bernie didn't win as it would have been looked at as a repudiation of Obama's milquetost liberalism.
Here’s where the logic falls short. If Bernie was popular enough to win, he would have beat Biden despite Obama putting “his thumb on the scale.” Politics is a dirty game and the only rule is to not rig the votes. If the people wanted a populist above all else then Bernie should have beat Biden regardless of the endorsements.

It's just nonsensical to have Trump on the ballot three times straight and basically lose 2/3 and insist that nothing went wrong and it's some how because they weren't to the right enough, after Kamala campaigned with a Cheney for most of her last visits.

I thought she could still pull through, but it didn't work out and in the end. At this point, there needs to be a changing of the guard and an end to what they were. The Republicans would be having the same conversation if they lost here after barely making gains in 2022. A lot of people are upset with the how the party is running, that's a fact.

It's bizarre to see people on here celebrating people getting deported and muslims getting bombed out by Trump.

What's bizzare about it? At some point and in some instances where its so obvious. Its okay for people to want to see proper repercussions for bad decisions.

Keep it real you know the superdelegates would’ve never back Bernie, even if he won the primaries. I fukk with Bernie but the truth is they would rather have Trump win than have him be the nominee.

its sick but they have views similar to Trump right.
Daily reminder this is coming from someone who said NYC deserves what happens to them as it concerns Eric Adams.

I hope those of yall that choose to spend your day going back and forth with him realize he doesn’t have a sincere bone in his body.

If he cares as much as he pretends (he doesn't) this administration should drive him over the cliff :mjlol:

so now Kamala was meant to motivate Progressives lol? the same woman I've heard thousands of people on The Coli and Reddit call a black-man hating jail czar and a neo-con in disguise. Yall hate her ass. Bernie Sanders is a Progressive. Kamala is a moderate Democrat that was willing to listen to your ideas. Biden picked Kamala because he wanted to appeal to average everyday black women and black elders. Our mommas. Our grandmommas. Our aunties. Our sisters. None of them are on that Bernie Bro nonsense. And just so I can refresh your memory, Biden won because he appealed to the Midwest. Bernie lost because the majority of the country wasn't going for it. I was in the Higher Learning threads in 2019. Bernie Bros were bitter to the very last day about Biden being the candidate so chill out with the revisionist history. Yall can't win nationally so yall keep hitching yourself to our bandwagon eventhough you really hate us deep down. Take the bolded for instance smh. Anybody that votes for Trump twice or doesn't vote twice while claiming we're in this together isn't someone I wanna be around. Yall need to start your own party :yeshrug:
Yeah Kamala ran as a Progressive in 2019 and was rejected for being inauthentic in her approach. Him picking her as VP was meant to shore up the left, women, and black people in one swoop. But you're once again missing my point. Dems just lost the popular vote and youre proposing trimming down the core base to appeal to a group (white men) that has a party designed to pander to them specifically. Youre not presenting a winning alternative youre throwing a tantrum because you dont like progressives. Thats the exact kind of thinking that got us to this point. But in case you miss my point in all this

If the Democratic Party splits into leftists and centrists they will never win another national election against Republicans

They haven't shown that they can out-flank the GOP from the right effectively on the national stage. Obama won in 08 running on a campaign of change, Biden won in 20 promising to restore order and improve the lives of average Americans. This is why Trump's main attack line was "Ask yourself is your life is better now than four years ago". The Dems had no effective counter they decided to go all in on highlighting how unstable and stupid he is. It didnt work unfortunately because the average American is not satisfied with the status quo and this was how they showed the rejection

If you guys think that every person who voted for Trump is a lost cause and its not worth getting into the psychology of how this happened then I suggest you start applying for visas
