She isn't supporting any public health care plan. She killed that in her 2020 run.

The best thing we can hope for Obamacare at this point is is that subsidies keep getting bigger and better and eventually more states sign up people.

Mississippi came close of all places and if she gets elected then they likely pass Medicaid expansion and Alabama will too. Possibly Georgia as well, with their god awful pilot program flopping

It sounds crazy but it's only a matter of time before these low hanging fruits gets gobbled up too.

Florida has a ballot initiative and that will likely leave

Texas
Kansas
Tennessee
Wyoming (which is trying)
South Carolina (might fall in the next few years with North Carolina doing it)
Wisconsin (with gerrymandering going away soon will likely have a good shot)

At some point these hospitals closing will force their hands, along with their aging populations. It will take those azzholes longer than we want but it will happen.

Nyt concerned

their takeaway:
Ms. Harris clearly has the momentum going into the Democratic National Convention, but she has not really been tested yet. At some point she will need to demonstrate that she can perform under pressure in order to win over undecided voters and less enthusiastic moderates and independents.

As unruly as this election year has been, there are still certain rules of politics that apply to the presidential race. History has repeatedly shown that the winning candidates are usually the ones best able to define who they are, whom they are running against and what the election is about.

Mr. Trump had made the election a referendum of his presidency compared to Mr. Biden’s – that he was a strong leader and Mr. Biden was weak.

In the past three weeks, Ms. Harris has set the terms of the campaign as a choice between change versus going backward – a positive view of the future compared to a dystopian view of the present with a desire to go back to the past.

But even though Ms. Harris’s favorability has gone up significantly since she announced her candidacy, the increase in support is soft. That is the reason that the Democratic convention is such an important opportunity for her to close the deal with key swing voters.

Mr. Trump, on the other hand, is fully defined in the minds of most voters, and has elected to double down on catering to his MAGA base despite alienating the key swing voter blocs that will determine the outcome of the election. During the last hour of his convention speech, and every day since then, Mr. Trump has offered words and actions that remind Americans why they voted him out of office in 2020.

Mr. Trump has increasingly looked like a washed-up rock star who can play only his greatest hits for his dwindling group of fans. If he loses in November, he will have been a one-hit wonder who led the Republican Party to four presidential and midterm election-cycle losses in a row.

Now they're saying Tampon Tim is making fun of white people's fear of spices/seasoning. You can't make this shyt up

Tim Walz’s ‘White Guy Tacos’ Quip Gets MAGA All Hot and Bothered

Tim Walz took some heat Thursday after telling Kamala Harris he eats “white guy” food without flavoring or spice.

At the beginning of a conversation published on YouTube, the Minnesota governor joked with the vice president about his predilection for “white guy tacos,” which he characterized as “pretty much ground beef and cheese.”

“That’s OK, do you put any flavor in it?” Harris asks.

“Uh, no,” Walz, her running mate in the presidential election, replies. “Here’s the deal—no, they said to be careful and let her know this, that black pepper is the top of the spice level in Minnesota, you know?”

Walz was obviously pleased with the bit, taking the trouble to share a clip of the exchange on his X account. “Listen, I’m just not much of a spice guy,” he wrote.

Others were less impressed. Several X users were quick to point one of Walz’s previous posts in which he showed off an award he’d won in the Minnesota Congressional Delegation 2016 Hotdish Off. “I make a pretty mean hotdish,” Walz wrote in the 2022 tweet, sharing a link to the recipe for his “award-winning recipe for Turkey Taco Tot Hotdish.”

The recipe calls for a can of “mild green chilies,” a bottle of “taco sauce (medium),” and spices including chili powder and paprika. For some MAGA fans, it was a smoking gun:

Other conservatives were offended simply by what Walz had characterized as “white guy” food.

“This isn’t cute,” Fox News columnist David Marcus wrote. “Walz is being used as a clown to mock white people. If Walz doesn’t like spicy food that’s fine, but it has nothing to do with being a white guy.” :dead:

Another X user accused Walz of falsely “playing to every stereotype of ‘whiteness’ in a cloying way to ingratiate himself with the diversity thang,” while radio host Larry O’Connor went as far as to describe Walz’s comments as “like a minstrel show lampooning white, Midwest stereotypes.”

Ashley St. Clair of the Babylon Bee wrote: “oh haha i get it, it’s funny because white people can’t season food and don’t like spicy things good thing kamala will bring some *spice* to the white folk and the white house ha ha.”

In the full video of their conversation, Harris also brought up Walz not answering the phone when she called to tell him she’d chosen him as her running mate.

“I called you, Tim—you didn’t answer, Tim,” Harris says. “What happened?”

“The most important call of my life,” Walz acknowledged. “It popped up and we didn’t recognize the caller ID, and it went to voicemail.”

The video then showed Harris laughing as she realized she’d have to leave a message, saying: “Hey, Tim, it’s Kamala—I really want to talk to you!”

We will see.

A lot of those states subvert voter will to do what they want anyway. That’s why a proper federal plan makes sense and the Fed needs to dictate the spending instead of giving out vague block grants.

Block grants are outta the question. States that have asked for " flexibility" haven't done SHYT in 15 years.

Fukk all that. All we can sadly hope for is the best.

Anyone else’s twitter feed now full trump propaganda
Kinda sorta not really. When i mention Trump on the feed I always call him “45” so the algorithm won’t catch it. And I always tend to block/mute any ads or twitter profiles that even smell like pro Trump.
