He's right though as far as the NBA goes. White Americans don't rock with the foreign born whites in the way they would if they were native born white americans, even if they were of the same ethnic backgrounds as those foreign born ones. If Luka was white american, he would be getting all kinds of praise to levels haven't seen since Larry Bird.

the other poster was making a distinction between foreign whites and "white boy" americans, one that I think is valid to the point he was getting at.
