Nimmo's a damn good player, but he's only played over 100 games and played above average defense at CF only this year. However, he will get the bag at around five year, $120 million at minimum in this weak outfield market with Judge out of the mix.

Well he signed with the Red Sox. I’ve read his defense is not that great and he projects to be a DH. I doubt he’s an everyday CF

A price the Mets should be willing to pay imo to compete now and it wouldn't hurt them in the long term cuz a lot of these contracts end after the 2024 season. They can't afford to have to trade for somebody like a Bryan Reynolds right now rn. They are already gonna pay the highest tier of luxury tax.
