So the dems lost the house?

They lost but history is not kind to the incumbent party in power traditionally that you lose between 20 or up to 60 seats in the house the fact that they're only going to have a slim majority basically means things stay exactly the same.

It's a moral victory that you didn't get white washed this election cycle.

This was a monumental underachievement for the Republican Party during this cycle.

Hitch your luck to DeSantis

This isn't even really political commentary. It says a lot about the GOP's infrastructure that Candace's unremarkable ass is (to some extent) pals with Trump, and able to talk about him being rude to her as a main talking point after the mid-terms. Just shows how there's so obviously nothing of substance in the entire conservative movement. Such vapid takes.

Also, it's frustrating that there's no similar apparatus on the left for young voices within the party. People like Candace and Charlie Kirk can become friends with the Trump family, interview them on their web shows, etc. There's no sort of infrastructure on the left for young voices or independent content creators to pal around with Biden or other senior members of the party.

I've started listening to Pod Save America with hosts Jon Favreau, Daniel Pfeiffer, Jon Lovett, Tommy Vietor. They're older than Candace, and they're technically insiders since they served in the Obama White House, but I like it.

I want to know

a. why all of the sudden MAGats are not crying voter fraud
Some of them are, but I think the primary reason it's not being said more today is because the GOP underperformed so significantly that the blame game is trumping (pun intended) any fake notions on trying to convince everyone that it was a fraudulent election. And even then, some of the losers are saying that the elections were rigged. But the bigger story is all of the in-fighting, precursor to civil war within the GOP (Trump vs DeSantis), and finger pointing. They all know they lost, and they know they're going to have problems in 2024 if they don't make some changes, and them acting like they didn't really lose just isn't gonna fool anybody this time.

Dems didn’t lose the house yet bro it’s still a chance they get it by the slimmest of majorities
