I'd rather the Astros than a division rival. Cohen punted at the trade deadline whereas the Braves went all in. The honeymoon is over. The fans want results and we want them now.

Yep. Fukk the rest of the NL East and NL in general, unless the Mets are in the WS, I don't want anyone else in the NL winning, especially in our fukkin division. I don't give a rat ass if the Astros won. The fact that the Mets had this division in the fukkin bag and couldn't even close the deal is damming. The Marlins, Braves, Nats and Phillies ALL winning a title in recent years is a fukkin problem that needs to be addressed. I ain't giving no congrats or props to any team in the NL. I rather the Yankees, yes, the fukkin Yankees win a million titles before anyone in our division or league wins one. I'm pissed as hell. I'm all up in my feelings.

Sour Diesel the only thing keeping me from wilding out. Cohen needs to start cashing them checks he wrote when he started talking about what kinda owner he would be. Sign Stro, Baez and hire Luhnow. Cohen's fukking honeymoon is over.

When Epstein, Beane and Sterns not being able to get permisssion happened I expected it but the GM/President searching now is getting fishy. I understand people in high level roles not wanting to leave and start all over again in a new city. But what is up with people like 4 to 5 steps below the president of baseball Operation and not even GMs yet not even interviewing with the Mets? That makes no sense, they Ha e nonibterest in advancing their careers? I think other owners don't like Cohen or are scared of him. Their might be a blacklist afoot, if you take this job with the Mets you won't be able to get another job after. Alderson can't be it, he is well respected and he's old. Even if he will be looking over your shoulder when you start he is gonna retire soon and then it's your show. What do you guys think?

It's Alderson. You ideally want a clean slate to start with. Him overlooking what you're doing and possibly going to Cohen to sow doubt and undermine confidence is something a logical candidate doesn't want.

When did Sandy become this guy no one wants to work with? His first go round with the Mets he had 3 former GMs under him and none of then had a complaint. Now these assistant GMs who never held a GM job won't even interview to even find out the exact situation? That doesn't add up.

I don't know if it's alderson. Cohen made it clear when he bought the team that he wanted Sandy to handle the business side and stay away from the baseball side. Everybody also knows how old he is and that he probably wants to retire soon.

I hope they go after Luhnow. The only candidates I have higher are the guys who weren't allowed to interview.

Yeah, will be interesting where he signs and for how much. Yankees need lefty hurting right?

I guess he can go to Cincinnati after they lose Castellanos to Free Agency. Hell Sandy can sign him. We can offer him, whatever we would have signed Conforto to 3-4 years ago
