Yall worried about all these people and ignoring the fact that Steven Cohen is a corrupt scumbag piece of shyt who has no idea how to be the owner of a professional baseball team and that maybe everything from the organization's culture to its performance starts at the top.

The Mets will continue to be losers with him there.

Yeah, the constant negativity from the fan base is not helping.
I completely understand pessimism and skepticism about shyt (given the shytty pobo search and process) but people go all the way into the abyss every time. Feels like people enjoy rooting against the team almost more than for the team lol.

The fans haven't been given much to cheer for since 2015. When the Nationals and Braves both win titles, their patience is understandably going to wear thin.

Not to mention there's new ownership, this ownership was suppose to mean the Mets operate like a big market team.

Has nothing to do with patience Mets fans always complain. 2016 it was the travesty of not resigning Daniel Murphy. lol

They banked on Dilson Herrera being better than Murphy and it blew up in their face immediately. Granted, no one wanted Murphy as a free agent, but you can't tell me the Mets screwed up there. If you're going to let him walk, you need an adequate replacement.

They upgraded with Neil Walker.

Who'd have thunk that Murphy would increase his OPS by 200+ points?
If Murphy knew he'd be that good he'd take the qualifying offer and make 3 times more money on a FA contract after 2016.

Exactly, And they tried to sign Ben Zobrist before trading for Walker.

The media can't Help themselves but to paint the Mets in a negative light. The narrative, "Only the Mets" is too hard to resist I guess.

Facts.... I was listening to MLB radio yesterday, and the Mets was getting clowned by these two hosts for letting Thor walk. I tuned in today and the same two dudes was killing the Angels for losing the draft pick, paying that much money for a dude who's only given you a couple innings, etc. I was legit confused like "ain't these the same cats who was killing the Mets yesterday?"
