Syndergaard needed to make a quick decision this offseason and he could not be told who the Mets GM and manager were.

I read on Twitter.. fukk.. I cant remember where.. that someone brought up moving on from Sandy, and getting a whole new regime in there.. and Stroman liked it. I got a feeling Sandy's not about this life no more. I think dude is literally collecting a check while the Mets upper management fumbles every possible resource and chance to move on.

I don't like the hire either. The excuse of dealing with Moreno is bullshyt. Scouting and talent is important and the Angels had neither.

There is no reason for Alderson to be part of the organization in any capacity. Cohen has the team.

- He was hired to make sure the sale was approved. They still don't officially have a GM. They need some type of executive to be currently working.
- He wants to own a team not be a president of baseball operation.

At least Eppler has experience in the position. Yeah, not a top flight choice but they did their due dilligence on all the better candidates. They either didn't want the job or didn't get permisssion.
