Loup was arguably the best reliever in baseball last season. Thats a HUGE fukk up.

17 mil for 2 years with an option for a 3rd. This is pissing me off. That's under 8 million a year. There's no reason why we should lose him for chump change. The honeymoon is over and they better have something in the works because this team isn't as good as last year's

Even if he doesnt replicate it.. even if he's a sub 2 era guy.. its still worth it. There's nothing worse than hearing our owner say that he's gonna spend spend spend ... and then its crickets when it comes time to dish out contracts. I hope he's got a plan.. cause as Met fans.. we all know its not always the case.
And now we have another one...
We missed out on like 4 left handed relievers last year and settled on Loup - relievers, unless you're Mariano or Eckersley, can be replaced.
How can we replace 56.2 innings?!
I don't believe for a second that Loup will have similar numbers next year or the year after that.

Loup I would have liked to stay but as @lepard said he isn't making or breaking anybody's WS chances. It's not a big deal.
