What interests me concerning the focus on race in this campaign is that there seems to be a weaponization against Sanders but outside of Kamala and Booker and probably Biden just because he is a party vet that will know people who can get crowds, everyone's crowds are basically all white.

No one seriously thinks Bernie or Warren won’t win 95 percent of the black vote in a general. I don’t even understand how that is a credible argument.

It seems like everyone has an attack against them that I’m not sure is true. I don’t think Warren is too left to win. I don’t think Biden is too centrist to win. I think Democrats win unless they put up someone that straight stands for nothing. The fight is just in the primary and for who leads going forward. But primary fights rarely reflect what would happen in a general. Like it’s hard to quantify how many of those Obama Obama trump voters supported Bernie in the primary just to fukk Hillary.

I’ve donated to Pete Liz Bernie and about to donate to Yang.

The wealthy are using race to attack Sanders because his discussion of class terrifies them. :yeshrug:

And it isn't going to work. :umad:

It's more a matter of turnout than anything else.

I don't think any candidate is going to cause people to vote Republican that usually don't (ie. black folks) but the wrong candidate could cause a lot of people to stay home. Maybe that'll be less of an issue in 2020 than 2016, but I dunno.
