A lot of Bernie supporters came over to Hillary when push came to shove,
bernie supporters came over to hillary at a higher rate than hillary supporters came over to obama in 08

as we've explained many times, but we keep having to counter the lies and nonsense from the centrist scum

I think by “stan” he meant Bernie’s most rabid, loyal fans. The Bernie-or-Bust crowd. They’re not gonna vote for anyone else. Almost all candidates have stans, but Bernie has the largest group.

Bernie voters who defected amounted to the norm for a typical primary candidate's supporters. Hillary supporters that switched after she lost to Obama amounted to a higher percentage by a significant sum. This narrative has always been exaggerated. the Dems have never had that hive mind mentality the Republicans roll with.

Anyone making predictions at this point is just saying what they want to happen. FYI, no one had a shot in 2016 against Hillary unless Obama was allowed a third term.
Cause the DNC streamlined it for her and favored her before the public knew what was out there. They made Clinton the only logical choice till Bernie showed out

The Bernie-to-Trump vs Bernie-to-Hillary numbers absolutely bear this out, but I would like to see the Bernie-to-didn't vote numbers. Would have to imagine, based on the political constituency he marshalled, that that number would be higher than normal.

Absolutely, I assume the same, but I also think that's an expectation that comes with pulling a big chunk of new and Independent voters. I don't think you could rely on those voters whether Bernie was in the race or not, but I admit that's an assumption. Just to add to why I speculate this way; I remember a while back that something like a 10% chunk of Sanders supporters had Klobuchar as second pick in one poll and it blew my mind... I can't explain how that happens so I just shrug and assume their independents :francis:
