But it's irrelevant to their point which is consistent. If you do away with all private insurance you're required to cover the individuals that private insurance would have otherwise covered.

What are open borders and medical for illegals a starting point for tho? I get M4A opening up a public option, what is the incremental step to open borders? We already got states that provide amnesty if you’ve been here awhile, in addition to anchor babies. Like what is the fight there?

None of those positions are ever going to become law.

When proposals like Medicare for all that abolishes private insurance are brought up with criticism about how they aren't going to happen the response is its a starting point for negotiations.

Joe is going to stick in on nostalgia (just had a two min spiel on Obama just now), but every time I hear him talk - he's got the fire still but clearly not the mental sharpness nor stamina. This is the same for Bernie. It is what it is, both these dudes too old for this shyt, they'd be better off putting their resources and fire behind Harris and Warren respectively.

Don't know how you can look at these dudes on this trail and think they'll still be fresh and sharp enough for the general in a year from now, let alone ready for office 1.5 years from now.

I think by “stan” he meant Bernie’s most rabid, loyal fans. The Bernie-or-Bust crowd. They’re not gonna vote for anyone else. Almost all candidates have stans, but Bernie has the largest group.

Anyone making predictions at this point is just saying what they want to happen. FYI, no one had a shot in 2016 against Hillary unless Obama was allowed a third term.

A lot of Bernie supporters came over to Hillary when push came to shove, but Bernie-or-Bust-ers are by definition not going to come around.
