Kamala can't even get the top spot in her own state. :deadmanny:

This is why warren is better.

She’s pushing the policies Bernie wants but in the envelope of a social democrat. She’s not letting the label wrap her up. And she will be more successful because of it.

I've had her pegged as the bridge candidate since late last year fam. She's digestable for the majority of the left and centrists; losing some on the fringes far left and right of center, but she has the biggest pool of supporters to grab from in a primary with 20 options taking up supporters. It's almost a certainty that Bernie wouldn't have even run last time if Warren jumped in. That's partially why I get so annoyed at the attempts to pit Bernie/Warren supporters against each other. I'm guessing they'll both target Biden (which has already begun) and not each other as they campaign.

IMO the smartest thing warren can do is tap Kamala and change history big time.

Warren can secure the total left and Kamala can wrangle the center into doing backroom negotiations.

shyt would be beautiful.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this.

All things considered, I could give her a pass for not coming in first right now; however, fourth is unacceptable for a popular senator who supposedly has a lot of support. Hopefully this holds because if she underperforms in California, then her campaign is effectively done. California's new placement was one of the key reasons she was supposed to be formidable, but this is Gillibrand-esque.

Side note: I don't think Gillibrand will poll this high in NY.

As a combo, Warren/Harris definitely reads like a ticket I believe could crush. But I could also see Harris jacking support from Pete and Biden if they hit the primary debates on the same night. Pete sounds smart in soundbytes but mostly comes across vapid to me and Biden's "after Trump the Republicans will come around" is like the reverse of Bernie...it'll play well to some Boomers I guess, but no one else. Might wind up with Harris center, Sanders left and Warren as the combo at the end of things.

Buttigieg is setting himself up for a John Kerry run of a political career if he plays it right. He's about to become a major player, but his time is not right now. I'm surprised he's sustained himself this far.

warren has a decade of literal experience in congress on her. Lets not forget this.

Harris is basically an older Buttigieg, even Obama was calling her his possible successor and she's overachieved but she's got time.
