@FAH1223 lol I definitely have criticized the professional progressive activist class but I think Stoller is going a bit too far lol. There was way more Twitter woke rhetoric that doesn't resonate in a national election in Warren's campaign than Bernie's

He's really worked up about all of this cause neither Bernie or Warren are looking like their gonna come out of this winning. The plan for Bernie to win was the centrists clustered on Super Tuesday and winning big delegate margins in Cali/Texas but we honestly didn't see the moderates coalescing + endorsements/free media for Biden coming that quickly. It was a good plan, it almost worked. As much as I criticize the failures of the professional activist/NGO industrial complex crowd, it didn't effect what happened after Nevada and South Carolina.

Stoller's tweet will have more weight during AOC's primary run in 2024/2028 when the Bernie/Warren activists join up together and she gets destroyed worse than Bernie in the south and Mid-west
I'm a Stoller fan and even I had to hit the :whoa: on those tweets

But while Warren definitely leaned heavier into the intersectional leftism than Bernie did, his whole insistence on running as a Democratic socialist fits the thrust of Stoller's tweets. I know a lot of people are saying this now, but Bernie should have labeled himself a New Deal Democrat instead of a democratic socialist. He should have explicitly drenched himself in the legacy of FDR and LBJ instead of a predominantly European philosophy that has negative brand affinity over here. He could have been cutting ads positioning himself as the heir to the President who signed into law the Civil Rights Act with MLK standing over his shoulder. Instead he chose a brand pandering to white brooklyn hipsters reading Lukács and Gramsci. It was political malpractice and massive self-inflicted wound. Calling himself a New Deal Democrat would have retained the benefits of forging a new path forward while also helping to overcome getting his ass kicked with black voters and avoiding a lot of the anti-establishment traps he jumped head first into. :francis:

If Bernie didn't have a plan to win against a consolidated field, he deserves to lose. :yeshrug:

Even Sam Seder was confused why Bernie keeps trying to die on that hill of redefining socialism instead of just DOING THE WORK

majorityreportradio.com/2019/06/13/6-13-the-billion-dollar-mckinsey-way-to-save-puerto-rico

The post-mortem on his campaign will reveal how arrogant he was to keep trying to prop up a definition and a distinction 99% of people won't grasp.

Y’all some miserable mfers @Loose and his crew. You do realize Bernie has generational support from black millennials right? Black boomers and black millennials have different politics. Black boomers support Biden
I can say anecdotally, 90% of black college grads I know voted for Warren

You can attack Joe Biden for many things but this is very disingenuous. Robert Byrd became a changed man when it came to racial issues.

Also, Bernie Sanders attended Byrd's funeral. Additionally, here's a video of Robert Byrd thanking Bernie Sanders after he made a speech on the Senate floor (start video at 10:35).

:mjlol:

:why: nikkas really trying to equivocate Bernie getting thanked by a fellow senator on the floor after a speech, to Biden loking it up and holding hands with that mothafukka? ...really??? Was this mothafukka a changed man too?

:mjtf: Let me guess, deep down the KKK is really just a misunderstood group of fine people.

The fact yall are in here caping this hard for a demented segregationist, all because he was VP for "the first African American who is articulate, clean and nice looking" is legit disgusting

Man, shut up. That picture was disingenuous and you and all the people that dapped your post know it.

I literally said that you can criticize Joe for many things but that's not one of them. Now, get outta here! :umad: :camby:

Caymans, bytch!
I would expect nothing different. Bernie supporters turn off people from Bernie more than Bernie himself.
Nah. We've known from day one the "Bernie Bro" narrative was a myth. It's just a rehash of "Obama Boys" that Hillary tried in 08 when she started losing. If you sincerely bought into it, you're dumb as fukk. :mjlol:

What a terrible narrative pushed by awful Bernie Bros like Joe....Scarborough....

:skip:

I just want y’all to be honest lol. If you just prefer Biden for whatever reason, cool. But you can’t tell me you honestly believe that the media ignoring this shyt now that they were willingly open to talking about in November isn’t a coordinated effort. These folks got on code and are doing anything they can to cover for him. I mean that much is obvious. This isn’t a Bernie scheme to make Biden look like he was losing it. They were talking about it too until he was all they had.

Y’all just admit it and we can keep it moving :yeshrug:
