Sorry but I just fail to see the leaders of the DNC looking at how Biden performs on a day to day basis and really think he’s their best shot. It makes no sense to me

It’s just funny how Biden was seen as an ineffective, hopeless dumbass a short time ago, and people were coming out of the woodwork to offer an alternative. Literally nothing has changed but him winning a state he’s supposed to, and everyone just says “EH, good enough”

i actually feel the opposite, i think the progressive movement could use the four years to find the candidate everyone can coalesce behind, bernie was/is not it no matter how much some of you want to force him to be. i also don't think a one term president is going to be successful in ushering in progressive change, so bringing in someone who could sit for 8 years would be a better look. IMO 2024 is a better year for this push. i don't think biden nor bernie gets to direct the course of the party if they were president, so it's green field to have an ideological battle IMO, and either way, the republicans will be in a primary also which leaves less time for fukking around in the dem primary
