dem political strategy on a national scale just seems like a clusterfukk, too many factions trying to unite, each one with different tentpole issues, some of which other factions oppose. for repubs, as long as you support guns, god, corporations, and , the rest don't even matter.
maybe another four years of trump wont be so bad after allYep. The problem is the Democratic base is almost impossible to please unless you have a once-in-a-lifetime candidate like Obama.
Otherwise, they have every excuse in the book not to vote (Bernie-or-bust, ADOS, Hillary's emails, both sides are the same, crime bill 25 years ago, etc.), meanwhile Republicans vote come hell or high water.
Is this not where we discuss different candidates and their viability for office? So much bernie talk these last few pages.

You don’t have to flip these trump tards they ain’t changing for shyt. The dem base is going to turn out regardless who it is. Especially with the grassroots organizations that have popped up the last two years. They worked hard to flip the house and just like they got independents out and moderate republicans to flip the house I believe the same will happen in 2020truth be told, neither are beating trump. warren being the better dem candidate, bernie being the more popular dem candidate...as much as i want warren in the WH, at the end of the day, i don't see either energinzing the entire dem base nor "flipping" these so-called trumptards the dem party is putting so much energy behind.
I cannot speak for your home state of Florida, however, I can speak for Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania will give the president more electoral votes. We know it is a census year, and we are trying to take over the upper chamber of Harrisburg. You don’t have to flip these trump tards they ain’t changing for shyt. I totally agree with you. This the most ass backwards state in the union.i know we gonna fight out here to get the word out but the gop machine is big out here plus a state full of idiots. The fact that they granted ex cons the right to vote may help a bit.I cannot speak for your home state of Florida, however, I can speak for Pennsylvania. Correct, but not everybody that voted Trump in '16 is part of his cult of idiots. Many were just generic Republicans who were voting that way regardless. Some were possible Dems who bought into all the insane propaganda against Hillary over the years. Some were just sexist. Some were fools who thought Trump was a good businessman. You don’t have to flip these trump tards they ain’t changing for shyt.
i hate to break it to you, but nah...Correct, but not everybody that voted Trump in '16 is part of his cult of idiots. Many were just generic Republicans who were voting that way regardless. I hate to break it to y'all, but an old white guy promising things to these people can beat Trump, and easily. I can see Bernie winning by 20%. I can see these folks spending 2021 saying "Yeah, hey, wait a minute, why doesn't congress enact President Bernie's agenda? I'm voting for his progressive pals in 2022, I want the economy fixed."
Hillary Clinton is white. They didn't vote for her. I'm sorry, but you don't get it.a good portion of them deflected because their whiteness, and thus power, felt threatened.
Nope. Bernie is the most popular Dem candidate among URM.bernie coming along promising them stuff but refusing to really connect his policy and talking points to URM weakens his support from a core dem base
These people voted for Obama before voting for Trump. They just want change. Obama offered that, McCain did not. Trump offered that, Hillary did not. Bernie offers that, Trump does not, Biden does not, Beto does not, Copmala does not, Pete Booty Guy does not, and so on.yet if he does make clear how his policies are helpful to URM, those trump voters stick with trump.
