The Deep State
:ohhh:

Another possibility is more harrowing: She has made a Faustian bargain to take the Oval Office. Her buddy Kushner, knowing that his complicity in the Khashoggi murder would doom him if it ever came out, asked her to step down—so that she might be brought back later on, this time as vice president, either for the 2020 campaign or sooner, if Pence was forced to resign. This way, if Trump was removed from office by the Senate, or if he resigned, Haley would assume the presidency, and would subsequently pardon everybody—thus fulfilling her end of the bargain. In this scenario, Nikki Haley is a one-woman sleeper cell, poised to wake and save the Trumps from ADX Florence. That would certainly explain the “hidden genius” remark.

It would work like this: Mike Pence would resign; Trump would nominate Haley as the new VP; as she is as “clean” a Republican as currently exists, the Senate and the House would likely approve her; Trump would resign; Haley would serve as Chief Executive for the remainder of Trump’s term, and run as the incumbent in 2020. In this scenario, she would wait until after the 2020 election to issue the Trump/Kushner pardons. If she lost, she’d do it on her way out the door; if she won, she wouldn’t have to face the electorate for four years.

I don't think he'd pick Castro. There's bad blood there and Biden needs a woman anyways. But if he did offer, Castro would obviously accept it. That'd be a huge promotion for him.

His entire candidacy is a run for VP.

This would be devastating.

I don't get this storyline for a few reasons.

1. Trump supporter's loyalty is only to trump. It only transfers to another person if they have been 100% supportive of trump from day one and every day after. She's had enough comments that were somewhat critical of trump that they'll never fully trust her. Not to mention she's a woman and Indian.

2. Pence being forced off the ticket would piss off enough evangelicals to jeopardize the chances of anyone running on the ticket (whether it's Trump or Haley).

3. I don't think trumps ego will allow a narrative that suggests he NEEDS her to win.

1. When the alternative is sOcIAlisT cOmMuNist BeRNie/WaRREn then they will get in line.

2. Don't think Trump needs Pence for their support anymore. Trump is deity status now. I'm not exaggerating, many evangelical leaders are on record equating him with being divine/savior.

3. He will swallow his pride if he knows it means delaying 4 more years of NYAG's wrath and allows him to install a couple more judges to the court in case he needs them down the line.

1. Most will but not all. And in close elections, every vote matters.

2. True. But same as #1, the margins count. And I guarantee there are some evangelicals out there that privately despise trump but held their nose b/c of pence's credibility.

3. I can see that.

Speaking of VP, this woman is obviously angling for something. Either VP now or prez if Trump gets removed.

I told nigggaz Nikki Haley gonna run for prez AND most likely win in 2024.

She def not going for no VP.
If Warren isn’t the first woman president, Nikki Haley will be. What will dems say then?
I hope Biden don’t cave in to progressives and pick a female VP. Remember Hilary and Palin.
Painful to say it, but this country has a bad record of putting women in high positions, and it seems people are liars. They say they’ll vote for a woman but never actually do.

But don't you agree that for every Evangelical voter he loses he'll gain two flaky ass suburban white women voters?
