Amerikkkans not checking for HW boxing has nothing to do with Wilder...

You Brits support your athletes, Amerikkkans don't especially if they're black, just look at how Floyd has been treated...They tuned into his fights in hopes of seeing him lose just like they did to the man in my avatar...

To add to that the HW division has been trash for over 20 years...AJ and Wilder are the only known HWs to casuals...Nobody state side other than us boxing heads watched AJ today...Unless Wilder and AJ fighting each other no casual state side is going to give a fukk...

That takes us to @Malta excellent point of the selling power of the American MSM hype machine...There is no greater hype machine on this earth...

Case and point...

How many morons did they convince to throw down $100 to watch Connor McGregor fight Floyd Mayweather in a boxing ring? Not only did they convince them to buy the PPV they actually convinced them McGregor had a chance at winning...

Not saying Wilder/AJ will generate that kind of payday but it is easily the most anticipated HW boxing showdown since Tyson/Lewis which was another example of the Amerikkkan MSM hyping up a fight...MSM had everyone thinking it was 80's Tyson...In reality Tyson was way passed his prime and all boxing heads knew Lennox was going to whoop him...and that fight didin't even take place in Vegas, I think it was Memphis and they still did big numbers...

Nothing but the truth here, you even had Amerikkkan's hoping that Floyd would get defeated by Mcgregor, even the shytty U.S. national anthem couldn't make fans support AJ.

@patscorpio this was nothing like Ibeabuchi v Tua

This was the 2018 :DeadKlit: v Ibragimov

Wilder invited Parker ringside for the Washington fight

The intent was to unify after the fight

Parker saw that KO and went :hubie:

Wilder NEVER made an offer to Parker ... NEVER

If he had ever made an offer to any other belt holder then I might take whatever he says seriously .... hes full of hot air

dude has fought ONE decent opponent his whole career out of 40 fights...

all this coulda , woulda .....

whatever you think about AJ hes had about half the fights that Wilder has had and has already picked up 3 belts....

One dude talks the talk ..... the other walks the walk

All things aside, part of it is the "he did better than expected so that means the favorite looked worse than expected" syndrome. Truthfully, for whatever reason, AJ never never got out of first gear. Never was truly hurt, he was hurt a few times and the ref fukked it up, but was never in DANGER. Didn't have to go for broke, so he did enough to win and thats all that matters
