You can't be taken seriously so I stopped reading here, America is shyt at most things, but the one thing it does well is hype and marketing that is damn near all the country is.

Not understanding economics and marketing in a country that feeds off hype means you're dumb :yeshrug:

My friend .... boxing is dead in America

had to take a loudmouth Irishman to get a decent payperview

The reason why boxing is dead and MMA is on the rise is because of people who have attitudes like yourself

you refuse to look at facts which makes you look stupid ... Ward and GGG were the biggest fights and the payper view was dissapointing

IF AMERICA IS SO GOOD AT MARKETING HOW COME THOSE FIGHTS FLOPPED????

FACTS

you sounding like a real idiot right now

my thoughts before i go out to my hometown watering hole and get my brain wet for a little bit

Femi put on a pedestrian performance for a fighter of his caliber. With that being said he won for sure, no robbery in that
Parker performed better than I thought he would. Maybe the elbow injury has some credibilty to why his previous fights were what they were
Wilder has a kill shot right hand but he is a woefully average boxer.
Femi still needs to work on his head movement and stop pulling back.
They (Femi & Wilder) both have power to put each other away.
Saying one or the other would win with their flaws is not as matter of fact. That's like saying Orlando Salido would lose to Vasyl Lomachenko because Vasyl fights pretty....ignoring he was very inexperienced:heh:
I think the fight will be made with Wilder. I have no problem with Fury facing whoever because you gotta get that lineal claim off him.

Femi has 3 belts making the match up more enticing. that ultimo dragon belt swag :wow:

Malta mentioning Americas hype and marketing yet Americas very own heavyweight champion is still out here complaining so obviously somethings wrong with the 'hype and marketing'

The reality is if Oluwafemi decides to fight at Wembley then its gonna happen at Wembley and theres nothing you can do about it :Mayweather: . A fight like that deserves to be in a place where there will actually be a real atmosphere (US atmosphere is wack compared to ours). 90,000 in the house to see Oluwafemi shine :Mayweather:

Its just too bad that Tyson Fury washes every active fighter in this division. :Drinking:

God bless the Gypsy King :Mayweather:

I see flaws in both Wilder and AJ, which makes the fight that much more appealing. As far as who wants the fight? AJ and Hearn are in the driver seat and they're doing what A sides normally do.....however.....they are bending a lot more than most. Wilder is maybe 3-4 fights removed from fighting in a Shriners hall in Tuscaloosa. At some point you have to put your ego aside to get the belt and the bag. It's sad when you see a young lion like Spence understand the game and eat the B side meal and travel across the pond for his belt and bag. Even Floyd ate the B Side meal TWICE. People remember the Oscar fight but as champion and clearly the better fighter, he ate the B side meal and went to Atlantic City against Gatti so he can raise his HBO profile. Wilder getting really bad advice. He should've been at the fight instead of doing Breakfast Club interviews. He'd be knee deep in Sky Sports interviews as we speak calling AJ out ad nauseum. I hope the fight happens, but Wilder is not acting like a guy that really wants the fight.

Most sensible post in here .....

i can tell you know about boxing unlike a couple of these idiots ....lol

I think right now AJ and Wilder beat Fury...... two years ago Fury beats AJ maybe Wilder .... but now Furys been out the game to long and to be really honest I dont think his heart is really in it, i think he just wants a payday ....

Ive been boxing over 25 years since i was 9 and I can tell you easily that Wilder is an awful boxer, in terms of technique BUT his straight right would put ANYONE to sleep......hardest punch in the business

but for all his flaws Joshua is easily the better boxer ....

genuine 50/50 fight

Dude you sound more and more stupid

WILDER SAID AMERICANS ARENT CHECKING FOR HIM ... NUMEROUS TIMES

Dude is heavyweight champ and his biggest payday is $1.5 million???

How THE fukk ARE THEY CHECKING FOR HIM?????

dude just stop... stop ... because you really dont follow boxing or your just stupid
Amerikkkans not checking for HW boxing has nothing to do with Wilder...

You Brits support your athletes, Amerikkkans don't especially if they're black, just look at how Floyd has been treated...They tuned into his fights in hopes of seeing him lose just like they did to the man in my avatar...

To add to that the HW division has been trash for over 20 years...AJ and Wilder are the only known HWs to casuals...Nobody state side other than us boxing heads watched AJ today...Unless Wilder and AJ fighting each other no casual state side is going to give a fukk...

That takes us to @Malta excellent point of the selling power of the American MSM hype machine...There is no greater hype machine on this earth...

Case and point...

How many morons did they convince to throw down $100 to watch Connor McGregor fight Floyd Mayweather in a boxing ring? Not only did they convince them to buy the PPV they actually convinced them McGregor had a chance at winning...

Not saying Wilder/AJ will generate that kind of payday but it is easily the most anticipated HW boxing showdown since Tyson/Lewis which was another example of the Amerikkkan MSM hyping up a fight...MSM had everyone thinking it was 80's Tyson...In reality Tyson was way passed his prime and all boxing heads knew Lennox was going to whoop him...and that fight didin't even take place in Vegas, I think it was Memphis and they still did big numbers...
