In regards to the fight itself

-Scorecards were wild, AJ won by 3 rounds max imo.. you can argue this if you want but I have no desire to rewatch this match
-Was that a right hand to the chin or was it a right hand to the body that made Joshua wobble late in the fight? Suspicious :Cameras:
-Parker usually likes his bulldozer style via going in on the inside - he was unlucky he came up with a ref that wasn't trying to see none of that inside game from either fighter - Good job Eddie Hearn :Mayweather:

-Parker's stock has risen however its gonna be a long road back for him, I expect a lot of fighters to avoid him
-Rematch makes sense just because of how the general consensus is that the ref 'ruined' the fight, however I dont think theres a high demand for it
-Parker was fighting scared earlier on and that hurt his chances

Joshua would make more in the US on a fight vs Wilder :stopitslime:

You saying Americans aren't checking for Wilder as though Brits know who he is. The hype machine that exists in the US would pump this fight up to being the next Thrilla in Manila :mjlol:
These are both incorrect

Wilder can't sell 90,000 stadiums in the US by himself whereas AJ has done so over here MULTIPLE TIMES. That clues you into the levels.

Also, I talk to my work colleagues nearly every week about wilder vs aj fight and they are about as 'everyday english' and casual as you can get. Everyone here knows who wilder is cos he's never far behind in conversations about AJ on sky sports tv etc and they have to and have talked about wilder cos he has a belt and is the only 'threat' to AJ in his division

Know what you're actually talking about brah before you open your mouth...esp about the uk when you clearly don't know wtf is going on over here

America doesnt do it well,

problem with people like you is you talk from emotion not from facts

Only one fighter is drawing crowds in America and hes retired

go look at the payperview for the Ward fights

go look at the payperview for GGG v Golovkin

FACTS

AJ making more money than ANY American fighter but somehow hes gonna make more money in the States

dudes kill me with their nonsense
Canelo does a Milly almost every time

Both sides are emotional. Some of ya acting like wilder didn’t nearly get knocked the fukk out by roidless Ortiz or how the judges had him winning when he wasent.

Look both of these dudes are extremely flawed, so acting like this ain’t a 50/50 is crazy to me.

Wilder got over anxious and got caught , only reason he got in trouble against ortiz

Joshua sucks, he ain't lasting 5 rounds against Wilder which is why they are avoiding him, he couldn't even hurt little ass parker he has zero chance of knocking out Wilder

Ortiz was the hardest puncher at heavyweight besides Wilder, we already saw the 50/50 fight and wilder came out on top

Thats because hes the biggest thing in Mexico .... no American fighter has his support

and to be honest its because you have useless promoters and managers ......

Deontay Wilder has said it before many times, he should be much bigger than he is ...... he needs to sack his managers and promoters

even ROC nation couldnt make Ward bankable .... its a damn shame

you dudes just dont back your fighters , I really dont get it

Amerikkkans not checking for HW boxing has nothing to do with Wilder...

You Brits support your athletes, Amerikkkans don't especially if they're black, just look at how Floyd has been treated...They tuned into his fights in hopes of seeing him lose just like they did to the man in my avatar...

To add to that the HW division has been trash for over 20 years...AJ and Wilder are the only known HWs to casuals...Nobody state side other than us boxing heads watched AJ today...Unless Wilder and AJ fighting each other no casual state side is going to give a fukk...

That takes us to @Malta excellent point of the selling power of the American MSM hype machine...There is no greater hype machine on this earth...

Case and point...

How many morons did they convince to throw down $100 to watch Connor McGregor fight Floyd Mayweather in a boxing ring? Not only did they convince them to buy the PPV they actually convinced them McGregor had a chance at winning...

Not saying Wilder/AJ will generate that kind of payday but it is easily the most anticipated HW boxing showdown since Tyson/Lewis which was another example of the Amerikkkan MSM hyping up a fight...MSM had everyone thinking it was 80's Tyson...In reality Tyson was way passed his prime and all boxing heads knew Lennox was going to whoop him...and that fight didin't even take place in Vegas, I think it was Memphis and they still did big numbers...

Tyson was way past his prime but he was still Tyson, tyson was still bigger than boxing and to be honest boxing was in its heyday

now in America I think its on life support, after Floyd I cant see where the next American superstar is coming from, and I mean that in terms of popularity not skill

Wilder aint big in America, neither is AJ

AJ could fight ANYONE and make $10 mill EASY

Wilder only makes that kind of money fighting AJ

The American public aint checking for Wilder and to be honest i think its because over the years hes received HORRIBLE advice

UNLESS Wilder steps up his profile in America as well as AJ I cant see that fight making more money over there ...

before the Ward, Kovalev fight I wouldnt have thought that but I was shocked by the numbers, if there was one fight you thought would have made a ton of money it would have been those fights....

In the current top ten pound for pound rankings there are only 3 Americans, but I get your point

the best fight may be in America but the best money isnt, unfortunately thats just the truth right now

Spence should be a fukking superstar ...... but he isnt ..... America doesnt deserve him

The last thing I’ll say

Joshua (stiff, robotic, no head movement, suspect jaw) is not great and wilder (wild, no balance, no real fundamentals, suspect chin)is not great. 50/50 fight.

The fight should be in America imo. I know aj is making tons of money in the uk but if he fights over here it would not only make him bigger but heavyweight boxing bigger.

But at the same time I don’t agree with America being that great at marketing ,why is wilder not one of the biggest athletes here? Just before Tyson took over boxing they were saying it was “dead”. Why couldn’t wilder do the same thing?

Anyway I’m out
