I'm not sure how I really feel about Doncic yet in regards to superstar potential.

As far as superstar potential in 2018, there isn't as much, if any, but you've got potential defensive anchors and other building blocks to construct a good team with.

Not a Porter fan?

What on earth do people see in Fultz? People keep acting like he's the surefire #1 pick. I literally don't see anything special about him. And don't say his stats. I could care less about college stats. Dude reminds me of Eric Gordon more than anyone else.

The 2017 class is mad overrated. It has no future superstar talents like Giannis, Embiid, Wiggins, Towns, or Ben Simmons. The best players from this class only have all-star potential.

My top 5 right now would be:

1. Lonzo Ball
2. Jayson Tatum
3. Dennis Smith Jr.
4. Josh Jackson
5. Markelle Fultz
He has no weakness. Have you watched him play?

I don't hate him, I just don't see him as a potential #1 pick right now. I've been a big fan of Sexton since I watched him in the U17, and I like Bamba and Carter a lot too right now.

I think Sexton's competitive nature is bound to turn a lot of people off from his game.

I think the thing with people not understanding the Fultz hype is him not really being elite in an area people pay a lot of attention to and the coverage of him at Washington. The games that have had a lot of attention he didn't really show out as much, 22 when Oregon came to town, and only 16 points and 9 boards in 40 minutes when they went to Arizona. The UCLA game was a good showing though.

The thing with Dennis Smith and Ben Simmons last year was that they are/were in better conferences and had better performances against top teams. Dennis Smith put up 32 @ Duke and made up for the first UNC game in the rematch. Ben Simmons had some insane games against Kentucky as well last year, that and DSJ and Ben both put up some triple doubles which certainly looks good.

If you have watched all of Fultz's games, or at least a couple, then you understand the hype.

That was happening with Josh too, getting too emotional and jawing the refs all the way up the court. Thomas Bryant too, if he didn't play for IU I would probably wouldn't understand and shyt on him for it.

Yup and it'll be worse for Collin too because dude is a talker. But as long as he produces he can be a top 10 guy. Trevon is his only competition anyways.

I'm pretty indifferent on Duval right now too, but if he works on his jumper I could see him dominating. Of course there is more to it than just adding a jumper, but that is why I am so intrigued with De'Aaron Fox and to some extent Miles Bridges.

One guy I'm really high on is Matt Coleman, especially if Jarrett Allen stays.

He also has no strengths. He isn't exceptionally athletic. He isn't exceptionally tall. He isn't exceptionally long. I've seen enough of him to know he doesn't jump off my screen immediately.

At the end of the day you have to be exceptional at one or more of those things to be a SUPERSTAR.

I'm not saying he can't be an all-star. I just don't see anything special about him like I do with Embiid, Giannis, Wiggins, Towns, and Simmons. Those guys right there are what future superstars look like.

Only guy who MIGHT end up a superstar from this class is Lonzo Ball.
