The 20 ft pull up, the spin move in the lane, the helpside D, body control around the rim, first step and the change of direction....I'm seeing more Wade in Fultz than Kyrie or Harden :yeshrug:

I've had cats on other sites tell me he lacks athleticism. I don't see a Westbrook/Rose/Wall level athlete but he looks pretty athletic when I see him.

He average well over a block a game coupled with his steals rate and overall efficiency should tell anyone with commonsense he is really athletic

That little half spin, step back jumper he has is :whew:

I don't think he's as explosive as Wade though, but that Harden comparison for me isn't really indicative of his whole game, just the kind of smoothness and some of the moves he has. I don't see the Kyrie comparison.

That boy Dennis tho got that D Wade pump fake and jump into the defender move down pat though :russ: I see more Wade in Dennis than I do Fultz

Wade is stronger but other than that I think they match up pretty well athletically. I don't like the Harden comp simply because Fultz, like Wade, has an advanced in-between game, something that isn't in Harden's arsenal.

You see the change of direction, help side defense or footwork off the dribble that Wade has in Dennis? I tend to agree with the Kyle Lowry/Steve Francis comps for Dennis.

I don't necessarily agree with a Wade comparison for Dennis but watching him play I notice a lot more of Wade in him than I do Fultz. I will give you the body control though

How big of a problem is Josh's age?
Dude is only 4 months younger than Devin booker:patrice:.

I'm always skeptical about how big of a deal a year of age difference is when looking at prospects.

Not that big of a deal for me personally. He'll be 20 for most of his rookie year.

A situation where age is a problem is a guy like Billy Preston who's a class of 17 kid who'll be 20 before he plays his first college game. That's when you have to consider a ceiling being lowered because he's more physically ahead of the curve than a 18 year old freshman.

if the draft was today this my top 5 in order

1. fultz
2. jackson
3. issac
4. smith
5. ball

What on earth do people see in Fultz? People keep acting like he's the surefire #1 pick. I literally don't see anything special about him. And don't say his stats. I could care less about college stats. Dude reminds me of Eric Gordon more than anyone else.

The 2017 class is mad overrated. It has no future superstar talents like Giannis, Embiid, Wiggins, Towns, or Ben Simmons. The best players from this class only have all-star potential.

My top 5 right now would be:

1. Lonzo Ball
2. Jayson Tatum
3. Dennis Smith Jr.
4. Josh Jackson
5. Markelle Fultz

The only future superstar I see coming into the league in the next few years is Marvin Bagley III and RJ Barrett.

Nobody in the 2017 or 2018 draft looks like a future superstar.

I'm not sure how I really feel about Doncic yet in regards to superstar potential.

As far as superstar potential in 2018, there isn't as much, if any, but you've got potential defensive anchors and other building blocks to construct a good team with.
